Future customers be warned, this company does not communicate well and will do everything it can to fast talk you out of having to stand behind their work. The owner becomes aggressive when you attempt to hold him accountable for his mistakes.

PH Texas Timber & Construction LLC Response

    12/15/2022

Hello, what the customer failed to mention was that he was calling me 6 times a day and texting me and I asked him to stop micromanaging me as I am the business owner hence is where he states I have aggressive problems. The customer also failed to mention that we had came out and did an investigation first to see what the issue was and then we had to get him on the schedule so my guys can come to his house with an excavator as they are on other jobs. He failed to mention that he was on a schedule and we fixed the septic problem and he was never charged for anything. Part of the failure was on the septic as the inlet line had buckled under the dirt presser and we fixed that problem and the other part is his as he has to many people living in his home, when the septic was permitted with the county it was for 4 people not 7 so the septic is being overloaded and it burned out the pump which my company did replace at no charge to the customer even though a burnt out compress is not covered under the limited warranties. We never tried getting out of doing any work plus I have a British accent so maybe there was communication problems but we never said we would not look at or work on the septic.

The company's feedback is not completely correct. It is true that the work that was done was not charged. It is not true that the system was overloaded. The system is rated for 240 Gal per day, per the installer. Daily average water use for the last 18 months is under 200 Gal per day. Additionally, calls were made only until someone answered the phone. The owner does not reply to emails, text messages, or voicemails, only voice calls. A very short "confirmed" or “received, we will be out later today/tomorrow” reply to text or email would have stopped any more contact attempts. The lack of feedback left us unsure if the communication was ever received at all, or simply ignored. When you are unable to flush your toilets, it is critical the repair company acknowledge the problem so that you can make plans for cooking, showers, and trips to neighbors to use the restroom. If you do not know that someone will be out soon, you have to make plans to go to a hotel. Getting told to “stop calling me, we will get there when we get there” in a loud volume that almost yelling, was both aggressive and unprofessional. A more detailed explanation of the interactions and work performed would have been posted, except for the length restrictions imposed by the BBB.
