In 2022 I talked to ****** about getting landscaping done that would help our drainage as well as a few aesthetic additions. I provided a drawing and pictures of all the plans. ****** provided an estimate with all the plans written out, which included a rock swale to help with drainage. It took about 2 months after the deposit for the work to start. Once the work started ****** was never seen on site and only a "*******" was on site. Toward the end of the project there was no rock swale built and only rock laid in an odd path. ****** was notified that this random rock path would impede drainage further, but he insisted his ******* knew what he was doing. We paid in full even though the project was not completed per the contract since he said this would help drainage. It took a few months to rain after the project was completed and the drainage was worse due to the added rocks. ****** was contacted many times and finally came out to see the problem. After many more months of contacting ******, and him promising to get back with us soon, he provided an estimate for doing the rock swale, which we have already paid for. I reminded him that we had already paid for this in an email and after 2 weeks and a few reminder emails have not received a reply from ******. He has told us many times that their company has bigger projects outside of the area so it seems we are too small of a job and he no longer cares about how this job failed. I assume from his lack of communication he hopes we will just forget or contact another company, but we have already paid him and would like for him to find another company that ****** will pay to come finish the work since he is too busy. Or he can refund us for the cost of the rock swale so we can find a company to finish the job.Business response

We never want to have a unsatisfied customer and are willing to work to resolve the issue. As stated the job was performed many months ago. I have had some medical issues over that time and my wife is basically running things, but let us know what we need to do to resolve the drainage. We did much more than just that on this project, to include landscaping and such. Please keep me posted on what we can do to help.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
In the original contract it states a rock swale was to be put in to help with drainage, but this was not done. Instead rocks were thrown on the new driveway and then scraped onto the ground, which further hindered the flow of drainage. I understand you have stated many times medical reasons as your reason for slow responses, but it has been a year and we have been patient. Last month I sent an email to ****** about what could be done, but received no reply to two email requests. Therefore to resolve this I request a refund for the rock swale that was not done as stated in the original contract and for the damaged driveway.
