    Pattern of Complaint:

    Since January 2016, the BBB of Houston & South Texas has received multiple disputes that exhibit the following pattern.  

    According to consumer disputes, it has been alleged that Webster Enterprise has been selling defective products at Home and Garden Shows.  The consumers are also alleging that they are not able to get in touch with the company by phone to request a replacement or refund within the required 30 day satisfaction guaranteed return policy.  The company does not respond to or resolve the disputes via the Houston BBB. 

    The company has provided the following statement:

    This letter is in response to the allegations against Webster Enterprises, Spring Texas.  We sell many different products at trade shows, state fairs, home shows and Christmas Shows.  We search for good quality products to sell at these venues.  We sell thousands of products a year and do get a defective or one with a missing part on occasion.  Some customers buy products and get then home decide it’s not for them.  We do offer a 30 day money back guarantee. 

    Our company has grown in the last year and we are busier than ever.  We try to take care of customers in a timely fashion.  We have added extra help to handle the extra load placed on our company in the last few months.  We are a 40 year old family based business that try to treat customers like we would like to be taken care of.

      On August 27th 2023 I purchased a foot massager at the N******* ***** **** for $600. Two months ago our foot massager would not turn on and I have emailed them and have not received any response I have called Webster *********** and left voicemails as well.

      I purchased a Maxhealth fitness board from the holiday convention center on Nov 26th in the amount of $900.00 plus tax $981.00. The man Randy I purchased from said there was a remote and power cord with unit. When I got home there was no power cord or remote within unit. Needless to say I am furious that I spent this kind of money and can not use it. I want my money back!!!!!

      Better Business Bureau:

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  

      The business owner contacted me, replaced the defective item with great speed and care, and I was completely satisfied. She was polite and showed great concern that I was not fully satisfied with my initial purchase. The company went above and beyond to correct the issue.

      On 7/22/2023 I purchased bamboo sheets from this company at Cheyenne Frontier Days. Within 1 day of having them there was a hole in the fitted sheet. I paid $212 dollars for these sheets. When I’ve tried to contact the company to resolve this I get a message that the page cannot be found after I click submit on their contact page.

      I bought 3 Cork Genius products at the Denver Stock Show on 1/12/23. One was missing the opener and the other 2 do not work. We just look them out to use them at our summer properties. I was charged $130 on a credit card. This company is out of Texas and I received a fraudulent charge on that card the same day for a rental unit in Texas or $1230. My credit card company was notified and the card closed. I have contacted Cork Genuis who told me to contact Webster Enterprises, the name on my cc. After much searching, I just sent them an email. They didn't answer their phone. I would like my $130 refunded immediately, but do not trust them to give them my cc #. A cashier's check would be more trustworthy. They may have the product back once I receive my money. Thank you for your assistance.

      In good faith, I wanted to let you know that although Webster Enterprises did not respond to your inquiry, they have contacted me directly.  A refund for the products in question was issued to me via check and has been deposited and cleared.  I just wanted to let you know that although the complaint was closed on your end due to lack of response, the complaint has been satisfactorily resolved on my end.
