    We've had an ongoing issue with this business from August 2022 - present. The owner informed us that they place window orders on Wednesdays. He also informed us that they could not place the order until they received our deposit (which is 1/2 down). We wanted custom black/black windows totaling $22,737.91. 08/25/22 (a Thursday), we wired $11,368.95 to Heritage Windows and Doors/George Nations for that initial window order. We were going to build a house last August but, over that weekend, we decided we were not going to move forward with the construction of a new home and with the knowledge that our window order would not be placed until the following Wednesday (08/31), I contacted George on Sunday, 08/28/22, and asked him to not place the order (see attached). The order was put "on hold" at that time. Fast forward to July 2023 - I reached out to George on 07/20/23 and informed him that we had purchased an existing home that we were going to remodel and would like to order windows now. We sent him measurements that day and he informed me that because we weren't doing custom, black/black (like we were in 2022), that the windows would take "2 to 4 weeks, 6 weeks max" and would be considerably less than the initial custom order. After months and me reaching out repeatedly, asking for an update and revised invoice, I received no response. On 10/10/23, I informed the business that if we did not received an updated invoice and ETA on the window arrival by Friday 10/13, we would need a full refund. The business responded on 10/13, saying they received my email and would have an update soon. On 10/17, the business emailed an invoice for black/black windows, totaling $22,737.91. I asked for a refund as this is not what we ordered...and mind you, we had STILL not received an ETA. George said that invoice was incorrect and then sent me an invoice that said white on white, totaling $21,542...but still no ETA on arrival. In the time the business was unresponsive, we got a quote from another business and, for ALL windows, the total was $3,000. I informed the owner that because we have STILL not received an ETA on the arrival of the windows, we need a full refund. It is now 12/04/23 and we STILL have not received an ETA on the arrival of the windows. The only acceptable resolution is a full refund in the amount of $11,368.95 wired back to our account, as we are moving forward with another company.
