I used Iron Horse plumbing to replumb my home in December of 2021. Before the work was performed, I was told by the office that there would be no problem to pay my insurance deductible to them and then pay the remaining balance once the check came in from the insurance company. I also asked about moving my water heater to the garage and was told by their office that there would be no charge for that work. I received a **** for $388 for the work to move the water heater, which I protested to the company for being lied to. I offered to pay for half of the cost of moving the water heater. After the work was completed, I received a call from the owner and he stated on 1/12/22 that if I did not pay the **** by Friday 1/14/22 in full, that they would seek a lawyer. I explained that before the work was performed that I had verbally agreed with their office to pay the deductible and then the remainder after the insurance paid out, and he would hear none of that and could only threaten me with a lawyer if I didn't pay in full by the Friday deadline. I paid the **** on 1/13/22 and was told that the Office Manager was out and she would have to get me a receipt when she returned to work. Today is 2/11/22 and I have made contact with them several times and all I have gotten is an email with the invoices for the replumb and the water heater move again, as well as a receipt for a previous water leak repair, which I already had. I have been trying for nearly a month now to get the receipts and all I get seems to be excuses for why they can't send them to me when I reach out to them. Also, I had the owner come back out after the plumbing was complete to show him where the plumbing was left hanging out of the wall behind the cabinets and he said that it couldn't be fixed with the cabinets in place, and when he sent his employees back to fix it with the cabinets out, they stated that we needed to wait until the cabinets were put back in. Need honest answers and receipts from them.
