I’ve never dealt with such unprofessionalism and incompetence from a company more than I have with Vet Ally Law. My grandfather is the veteran, and my mother and I (daughter and grandchild) have legal POA and primary caretakers due to his medical condition. I quickly learned that Vet Ally Law is a brand new company — no problem. The problem is that they didn't have confidential document submission practices/procedures in place, client service is terrible, I was told by the lawyer that they are a new company and learning as they go, their use of all of these random apps —'Ring Central' was used to schedule a call with the lawyer, we never received meeting confirmations because their system was always having issues and "IT" was "fixing it", and no formal system in place to send and receive confidential documents — we were sent a document through email with my grandfather's SSN on it, which is extremely unsafe. As a response to that, I was told by the lawyer, Dillon, "because their clients are older, they prefer email". As a law office, this should have been in place long before accepting clients. Jerise is a large part of why I'm writing this review. From blatantly not responding to my emails requesting a status update, not following up when she said she would, her unprofessionalism and noxious disposition, lying about when the documents were mailed and catching her in the lie, and telling me that she refuses to respond to my email with the tracking information that she said she would so we can track the documentation for its arrival because she "gave it to us on the phone" —which is weird. For this reason is why I keep everything in writing. To note, we have measures in places with all necessary avenues regarding my grandfather's SSN in case anything comes up for safety precaution. My grandfather/We have terminated the relationship. This review is of my personal experience only. This review has no intent to persuade you to or not to hire Vet Ally Law.
