I can only express my relief that our child is no longer attending this establishment. I am awarding it 2 stars solely due to the kindness of my child's teacher. While the building itself is pleasant, the management leaves much to be desired. Firstly, the management has reserved the closest parking spaces, right in front of the entrance door, for themselves. This behavior speaks volumes about their regard for customers. Secondly, the official opening time is 9 AM, with a pre-care program in place to supervise the children in the corridor until that time. However, this program is poorly executed. The teachers in this program appear impatient with children, and I have witnessed them raising their voices at kids on numerous occasions. Furthermore, the policies of this establishment are simply unbelievable. They claim to follow the county school program, which results in over 30 days of holidays and closures per year. After conducting some research, I discovered that none of the other Montessori schools in the area have as many holidays. Lastly, they require a $400 security deposit, which we did not receive back when we withdrew our child with one month's notice. The director explained that it was because we withdrew our child outside of the academic year (They do not count summer school as academic year). In my view, it seems they are primarily focused on profit rather than prioritizing and fostering our children's well-being and development. Just to clarify, my concern is with the policy itself, not with whether I signed the CONTRACT. Additionally, the wording on the contract was unclear to me. When it states "May2023/May2024," I interpret it as covering the period from May 2023 to May 2024, without specifying that withdrawals during the summer don't count as part of the academic year.
