I am filing a complaint against the Southwest Water Company after their main water line to my house broke and was leaking water for 8 hours. I first called them on September 2nd 2022, went out front and noticed my yard was flooded as water was running out of SWWCs pot hole & also running through my driveway. It took them 8 hours to get out to my place to stop the leak, they said it was because it was ***** *** *******, which caused extensive damage to my driveway, my yard now how has a giant footprint from one of their guys in the mud & it's all weeds instead of grass. On top of that, a week after Sept 2nd, my fridge started leaking, my toilet upstairs fills up slow now, & my water heater is making loud sounds after using hot water. My neighbor who shares the same main line that leaked, had a plumber come out as her hot water heater broke after this event, they told her when SWWC worked on the line, they got mud it in which pushed her water heater over the edge. She had to replace her water heater. I called a few weeks later on Sept 27th, sat on hold for over 30 minutes and then told them about these issues I was now having after their leak. She said she would have someone come out, fix the yard, flush the line & leave a note on my front door if I didn't answer. I heard a vehicle pull up, looked out and it was a white work truck with a handful of guys in vests, they dropped a few squares of sod around the pot hole, and drove off. They never came to the front door or left a note, as I had requested to speak to one of them. I called SWWC on Oct 4th, got the same lady, she remembers me now, I told her that my driveway was now cracking, the guys dropped the sod and left and no one came to the front door. Due to the water running for 8 hours, it flushed away the ground below the driveway, which is why it's cracking. She immediately escalated the issue, it's been 20 days, no call or visit from SWWC. They need to repair my driveway, yard, water heater, fridge & toilet.
