We Contracted *********************** dba M and M contracting to move 2 double wide mobile homes. we paid him a 25% deposit to hold his services until we could get all the utilities installed at the site. this was completed at the end of Oct 2023, Contacted **** and he said he could start the first week of November. he did not show up, he said his truck that he uses to move the houses was broken but he should have it fixed and a couple days. this went on for the entire month of November. in September it was the same thing except this time his property was flooded, had a family thing he has forgotten about, and his truck was still having problems. this went on the month of December, ***** is broken but he should have it fixed by the end of the week, his cow died. in January same excuses for the first 3 weeks. about the last week of January, he showed up and started taking the skirting off one of the mobile homes and asked for another 25% 0f the contract. we paid him but after waiting 3 months on him we at a point where the houses could not be vacated for a couple weeks. instructed him to go build the pads at the site in the meantime. after the time had passed, he did not show up again, it was the same excuse. his truck still was not fixed. at the beginning of March 2024 i asked if he could get his done because this was stating to impact us. he said he could absolutely. he did not show up for next few weeks. we had had enough of this so i contacted him to come and get his little trailer from my property and we wanted him to refund our money. his tools are still sitting there, and he has not refunded our money or contacted us in any way. we feel that after 5 and a half months to complete a 2-week job we were more than patient. in addition to ***** we paid him we did pay him for the base material that was used to build the pads for the 2 mobile homes which was done by someone he contracted and those do need fixed because they are off location a little bit. help us get our money back.
