On November 4, 2021, I went to this business to purchase 2 specialty light bulbs for outdoor lighting. However, since they were not in stock, I was required to order a box of 10 of these special light bulbs (MIN10559). The salesman, Galionie ********* told they would be in for pickup in 7 - 10 days, and I had to pay in advance, in the amount of $39.90 + $3.29 tax for a total of $43.19. I was told that the business would call me when the bulbs came in. After 4 weeks without a call back, I went back to the store on December 2 to find out what the status of my order was, and was told by the same salesman that the bulbs had not yet come in, with no explanation. He disappeared to speak with someone, and returned to tell me it would be about 3 more weeks before they would be in. I had the impression that they probably were never ordered, but not sure. In any case, this seemed unacceptable, and I cancelled my order, and requested a refund.The basis for this complaint is that the business withheld a "Restocking Fee" of 15% of the price AND Tax ($6.47), for an order that never came in. Therefore, I had $36.72 refunded to my credit card. This may seem like a trivial complaint, but it was very disturbing to me and I felt that this is a bad business practice. They kept a portion of this payment AND tax for an order never delivered, and probably never placed, and it cost them nothing to cancel the order. Therefore, I am requesting the refund of the $6.47.
