Hired 2/8/21 and had 2 children attending the school Per our employee handbook- first 90 days at 50% off discounted tuition (2/8/21-5/7/21), then 65% off after (5/10/21) I applied to ********** Aware (CCA)- military subsidy program to help with tuition. I was informed by our then director to file for full tuition upon direction from the owner. I was promoted to a leadership position in September of 2021. Later, it was verbally told to leadership that tuition would be free- 5/30/22 (I can provide other leadership members tuition invoices that were promoted after me- it was not made public information to all employees). I stopped filing for CCA until I accrued a balance again and our owner instructed the director to have me continue to file. Upon my exit from the company, it is our policy for any family on CCA to be refunded any credit at the end of their stay since it is retroactive and it is normal for the family to pay full tuition the first few months ($4223.59 from my paycheck) then continue to get credits after their departure. As per our normal proceedings, my last day-12/1/23- leadership refunded any remaining balance ($2996.83 receipt). The owner then called the bank and cancelled the transaction. 12/13/23 was my exit interview with the owner and I brought up that the refund was never processed. I was told that I was billed incorrectly (my billing has been consistent since I started) and that a file would be opened with CCA. 12/18/23- I too, reached out to CCA to ensure they heard both sides to this story and was informed they would investigate and have a finding about 30 days out. I have reached out twice since then for an update and have not received a response. We are well past the 30 days. No resolution or follow up. Since May, when I was supposed to get free tuition, CCA has paid this establishment $11,424.33 for my children (this includes the nearly $3000 sitting as a credit on my account)
