My house sustained water damage after a tornado hit ******, **. I used a company called Fix It Services to handle water mitigation. I sent them this after receiving the invoice:"The invoice I received is not what I expected. I requested and still need an itemized list of what exactly was done. I find it hard to believe that the equipment used warranted approximately $625/day. Especially, when an entire day had the equipment sitting unused due to blown breakers and me not able to get them restarted. I informed ***** of this and when he returned on day 3, he got all of the units restarted. Also, I want to ensure that from 14-17JUN2024, I was not charged for any services. ***** was not able to pick the units up on 14JUN24 (due to a medical issue) as agreed and he arrived on 17JUN24 to remove them. They sat unused for those 4 days, also. Please provide an itemized list of what was done."They have refused to supply me with an itemized list of services rendered and have replied with, "Sorry we do not send an itemized list and you let us know that this was already paid for. You were supposed to send us a receipt showing us that it is was paid for."When the equipment was picked up on 17JUN24, I went through the process of paying them and for some reason, it didn't go through on their end. I have checked my bank statements and cannot find a debit to them. They contacted me a week ago asking for *********** that things have calmed down after the storm and I have enough sense to question what is going on, I want them to provide me what I am asking for. Besides running the drying units, they removed the carpet. They did not demolition or repairs and there are 5 days of unused equipment. I am concerned they are charging me for services not provided due to the lack of transparency on their end.Thank you,***

I contacted this company last week by telephone and told the lady who answered that I needed a leaking outdoor faucet repaired where the leak was in the cap of the faucet. From past experience over the past 60 plus years I know it only needs what is called "packing" to stop the leak. I also told the lady that I would ask that two other outdoor faucets have the same repair because all three were at least 15 years old. I also said a shower diverter in the master bath was leaking and also needed repair. She said this would not be a problem and a Sept. 25, 2023 date was set between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. for the service. When the technician arrived before 10 a.m. on that date I showed him what I needed and he replied that it was "Not worth my time" to do repairs and all four items would need replacing. I explained that in order to change those faucets it would require tearing out the wall (inside or outside) for each outdoor faucet and he said that his company would not be liable for repair of any wall damage. I refused his services and he charged me a $39 service fee. I attempted to get in touch with the general manager, *********************, the next morning, (Sept. 26) and the same girl I had talked to earlier about my needs said she remembered my call and said the information I received from the technician "is not the way we do business." She said ******* would call me when he arrived at work. This did not happen. My wife and I are in our 70s so I consider this a rip off of senior citizens and a "bait and switch" tactic since the service I had requested resulted in the refusal of my request and offer only to replace, not repair the items I need fixed.

      Per the Technician Notes

Customer wanted us to rebuild 3 hose bibs, and replace a Diverter tub spout. Told customer we don't rebuild tub spouts with  old valves, but we could replace them. ******** said he used to do it himself all the time, and that a plumber he knows days all his house bibs are "brazed on". one of the bibs appears to be threaded into a ******, the other one is impossible to say, as it is grouted directly to the brick wall. Customer wanted an estimate to replace the Diverter tub spout, went out to the van to get a tape measure to see what length spout he had, when I came back in, he told me he was just going to pay me the $39 and told me to get out.
