This company had a contract with Clover (the company I had an agreement with) to provide equipment for credit/debit processing services. Within that year to no avail. I was cold-transferred for hours and days. I finally asked them to submit a ticket to have a Supervisor call me back. Due to over a year of 4 different companies debiting my account, which was not authorized or initially communicated, ********* and ***** of Clover decided to cancel my account. I was told to return the machine and I did. I made weeks of attempts to get through to 1st Data and when I got finally got through to a few agents and I told them that I wanted to cancel they disconnected the line. I remained on the line for about 5 hours straight one day hitting all the prompts and that's how I was able to find the mailing address. They have their telephone system set up where the callers would only hear the recordings. There is no way to resolve issues and when you are disconnected from several representatives there is a strong feeling that no one is going to remain on the line long enough to resolve. I did what I was told by ****** who I signed with. Why am I now getting a disrespectful call from NorthStar location services at ************ about a balance? I never made a contract with or had the opportunity to communicate with 1st Data after Clover gave me their phone number. I don't owe them a balance just as they never felt the need to communicate, clarify, connect, respond, or handle the ongoing situation. They agreed with Clover and now with North Star. I recommend they proceed with the communication with these 2 businesses leaving my name out of it.
