on august 25 i had 0 dollars in my checking account at about 11 am i made 4 purchase not totally more than 40 dollars. food, gas, drinks. the bank told me that as long as i deposited money by 6 pm the same day i would not be charged any overdraft fee. i deposited 100 dollars into my atm at like 5:55 the same day. monday august 29 the bank hit me with 4 over draft fees for 35 dollars each. i called the bank and was told from another location i deposited the money at 6:02, 2 minutes late that day. i called my bank in ******** because thats who was in charge of my account and spoke to ************************* the bank manager. She refused to work with me at all, got into a screaming match with me, told me i was threatening her when i said i was gonna write a review on ****** describing what happened and hung up on me. that same day, august 29th at about 12 pm noon i deposited 150 dollars into my account which i have a reciet for. at 9 pm that night i realized my account had been closed with no authorization from me and no idea what happened to the remainder of the money. the bank never contacted me, never said anything to me.Customer response

I spoke to the regional manager **** and he completed fixed everything. I have no issues with that bank anymore. He really went above and beyond to resolve the issue and I would like to take back my complaint.Initial Complaint

After over a year later Bank of America has decided to take money out of my bank account for a balance assist account that was closed out by them. I called in because to figure out what was this unknown payment on my account because to my knowledge everything had been settled with Bank of America. When I spoke with there representative Nancy it was explained to me that, yes the account was closed and that there should not have been any funds taken out of my current accounts that Bank of America approved to open a year after this balance assist account. My information on my account has always been up to date, including but not limited to my phone number and email. I did not receive any notifications from Bank of America in regards to seeking payment for past account as well I did not give Bank of America permission to take money out of my current account that Bank of America approved this year to open. They also approved the new accounts for this year with out any stipulations or conditions. I am requesting a refund on payment that was taken without notification or my permission.Business response

I submitted one application with the bank 6/3/22 and gave approval to Alyssa Wood to pull my credit the one time. My credit received two hard inquiries 6/3, two hard inquiries 6/6, two hard inquiries 6/7, and one hard inquiry 6/8 after my loan application was withdrawn in writing. I made a request to have the inquiries removed and was told that there was a glitch with their system but no urgency to rectify the issue while my excellent credit score was being effective. I contacted Experian and they were able to remove 3 of the inquiries but stated that the remaining were done with a different code that would require the bank to complete. Experian fraud department recommended I file a BBB complaint due to the damage being done to my excellent credit. I have made multiple written requests to Alyssa W*** and Teresa S***** at the bank to have the inquiries removed but they are not responding. The entire application process was horrible, sent me an adverse action stating I didn't have any credit scores which was not accurate. When I contacted the office I was told that I had scores but they were in the 600. I pulled a free credit report and showed Teresa my scores were 711, 716, and 706, then was told it must have been a glitch from their end. But never got a resolve. Nothing but multiple hard credit inquiries that are ruining my hard earned credit score.Business response

Apparently previous requests were not received as we had a change in administrative staff. A letter was sent to the appropriate credit agency in June and we will work directly with the customer to ensure the reported mistake is corrected.
