Date of the transaction: 08/2021 The amount of money you paid the business: $2,850 $871.94 for Friendly *********- No engine issues. Repaired the transmission coolant lines. Low transmission fuel. Recommended transmission rebuild. What the business committed to providing you: Transmission Rebuild What is the nature of the dispute is: Over the course of a year, we have brought in the vehicle multiple times with the same issue of delay in shifting. The issues have not been resolved. If I continue to drive it, it will only be a matter of time before the transmission goes out again because the underlying issue has not been resolved. It has gotten to the point where they put blame on other issues in the vehicle. I took the vehicle to a ***** dealership to be inspected. Turns out, there is nothing wrong with the engine. We needed to replace the transmission coolant lines and fill up the transmission fluid. Once we corrected this issue, the shifting gears were doing the same thing. They recommended a transmission rebuild. I took the vehicle to Tx Transmission again since I have the warranty. I got it back with the same issues. I have already asked for a refund but they denied that request and said they can look at it again. Why would I continue with them if they obviously cannot fix the problem? I have asked for Itemized items and an email on the work they did on 09/2022. They keep saying they will send it when they can. When I asked for an ETA, they go around the question. I gave them the benefit of the doubt for a whole year since we were under warranty. They have yet to get the issue resolved. I would not recommend this business to anyone. My 1996 Chevy Tahoe was put in the shop at TX Transmission from February 6, 2021 to February 13, 2021 to rebuild the transmission ($1,485.00) and then months later in the same year put back in the shop for the same transmission issue on December 22, 2021 to January 3, 2022. TX Transmission stated that I had a Life Time Warranty on the transmission, but failed to repair transmission, because I'm still having the same problem with my transmission slipping. When I talked with TX Transmission on January 3, 2022, they stated that they rebuild the transmission twice this year (2022) and once in (2021). On January 10, 2022, I called Texas Transmission Repair and spoke with Gabriel Aranda, Tony Rodriguez and Raul Baray and informed them of the slipping transmission and a loose hose that was hanging from the transmission. They stated that the transmission is fine, because they rebuilt it and that they did not know where the loose hose came from. I wanted a second opinion on what is going on with the transmission slipping, so on January 21, 2022, I called Mike Campbell (Mobile Mechanic) to come out and look at the transmission to see what is going on with it and he stated that the transmission is the issue and not the motor. I had to pay the Mobile Mechanic $85 to diagnose the problem with my truck. I also paid them $175 to repair the ABS Break Light, because it still come on and off. I still having problems with the ABS Break Light. In the process they broke my Driver Side Door Handle, they fried the brain on my ($600) Dollar Alarm system. Then I had to pay ($120) to get my truck towed back to them. I feel like I was taken advantage of and I would like to receive a full refund of my money of: $1,485.00 (Transmission Repair Price) + $175 (ABS Repair Price) + $120 (Towing Price) + $600 (Viper Alarm System Price) + $85 (Mobile Mechanic Diagnostic) = $2,465.00
