On 6/15/2023 I went to this shop to get my car checked out because it would start. They contacted me back and said my car need a wireless ignition and keys would have to be reprogrammed. They quoted me $2100.00. Then I told them I couldn’t pay that kind of money so, they went down to $1600 and said they could finance the charges. The manager applied for a loan but told me it was not approved. Then he said he was going to get it approved. They never told me that they were applying for a loan that had a 179% interest rate. I’m a 78 year old disabled Veteran and this company took advantage of me. The manager just got my social security number and applied with fraudulent information that he created. He made up an email, phone number and who knows what else. I told my daughter what was going on so, she drove down from Dallas to help me get my car back. She has been handling the situation since. They had my car for two weeks and still had didn’t anything. She went and ask for an invoice of what was being done with a break down of the parts and labor. They never provided that so, I told them I was cancelling the service and I had my car picked up and towed back to my home. They told me everything was cancelled she they had not performed any work on my car. They financed the repairs through Easypay Finance. I have been contacting them every since I found out I was being scammed. Please help me get this loan cancelled.
