Took my 2014 Harley Davidson to the service department to get a quote for a water pump replacement. Was told they would need to look at the water pump before a quote could be given. Service department looked and agreed that the water pump was bad. Quoted me a replacement price of $1,311.00 Told them not to replace the pump that I could get it replaced at another Harley Davidson dealer for $700.00 The service department then told me I had to pay a fee for them looking at the pump. Service department charged me $175.00 for removing the water pump cover and looking at the pump.Initial Complaint

I bought a 2021 Harley Sportster in October of last year, it was not until late January that my tags came in at the Harley shop, when I went to pick them up I was told I had to bring proof of insurance and give them the title of my trade-in bike in my name, we discussed this a few minutes as I told them I do not have the title when I traded in the bike they kept the title there were two people there with me that confirmed this as they were there for both situations when I traded in mine and the day I came in to get the tags, but I did tell them I would double-check if I had the title at home and if I did I would bring it up there and we could go on from there and I told them I would be there next Tuesday, well Tuesday came and went because I was on lockdown for 5 days because of Covid, I never got it or showed symptoms so when the quarantine was over I went the following Tuesday, when I got there the lady I spoke with was rude from first breathe telling me she refused to give me my tags because I have not presented them with the title, I told her she was mistaken that they have the title there I double checked at my home and it was not there they must have lost it however I still want my tags, so she yells at me and then the man who actually did all the paperwork in the first place came in and said no they will not give me my tags I said fine give me my old bike back and you can have the Harleys back and I will never do business there again he once again said no because my trade in had been sold, well is it not illegal for a dealership to sell a vehicle without a title, that in itself told me they were lying, I asked to speak to the general manager and I kept getting excuses oh well he is out of town at a conference and we refuse to bother him with this, I picked up my phone and dialed the BBB to see what my options are and they emailed me this information, I also called corporate headquarters for Harley Davidson and the GM finally showed up, he was rude and unhelpful.
