My mother received a bill from Medicare with a fraudulent claim from this company billing for an insulin pump from a pediatrician in NV, with a permanently closed office. This company in in TX. Why would a pediatrician order an insulin pump for someone on Medicare? When I contacted the company, they apologized and stated a billing error, but still a pediatrician billing Medicare should be a red flag. This has been reported to Medicare's fraud line as well.Initial Complaint

On August 24, 2022, I purchased a BiPap mask from The Home Health Store. I was told that I had to pay cash for the total cost of the mask and that they would then file a claim on my insurance. We were told that once the claim was processed we would get a refund. Knowing that we have to pay 20% towards the purchase, we have been waiting for the reimbursement of the purchase price minus 20%. W have contacted the owner 3 times asking where this refund is. Each time we have been told that the claim was just filed that date. Today I called my insurance company to see if a claim has been filed. I was told that no claim has been filed. She contacted Tom Gloyer (owner of Home Health Store). He told her that they are working on the claim and it hasnt been filed yet. This, after Mr. Gloyer telling us 3 times that the claim has been filed and they are waiting on it to be processed thru the insurance company. The refund is over $100 and I could really use the money as my husband is scheduled for surgery on the 15th and 22nd of this month. I think this is a poor way to run a business and we should have already received a refund. Instead we are being lied to that the claim has been filed when nothing has been filed.
