I had ********* insurance for rental property I told agent the rates were up so much I wanted to find cheaper coverage; But gave her a credit card to pay both premiums.in Aug 2023.Went out of state for six weeks when I returned, I received a bill from ********* and I called agent asking what it was for. she said u paid august but but u never got back to me went to her office I took the two bills gave her my credit card to pay it. She said ********* would NOT accept payments . Reason: it was past the grace period. I thought ok rental property no longer has coverage. On Dec 23 received two collection letters from ********* for non payment .Same ones I came to ur office to try and This morning she said ********* said they sent three bills via mail. I said I never received anything in the mail except the ones I I brought to ur office and I have a cluster mailbox; which neighbor can verify always wrong mail. U have been selling insurance for years why didn’t you say u need you to sign a cancellation form to stop billing? Another insurance agent who sells insurance showed me today, from his personal cell phone how he sends a courtesy text to his clients reminding them for ex. car insurance payment 4 days past due can still pay-call him or pay/app. comment she wasn’t doing her job. Asked if ********* or agent ever sent courtesy text or call no. Their claim statements in the mail. Melissa also told me how insurance companies so horrible and pulled out of Fl, Ca,Tx. Saying Traveler’s is a great company but out sourced all the phones to foreign countries, poor English u can’t understand them forced to pay invoices on a credit card for $140.00 and $120.00, to avoid ruining my credit. I will never do business with ********* or Insurance discounters, Tomball or recommend you Will call Texas state board of Insurance. Hopefully enough people will read this and are going to get motivated to call Texas state board of insurance to demand reform. I learned an expensive lesson
