      I missed the 30 day deadline to return a **** exhaust kit. I gave customer service my ***** * ******, and explained the manufacturer's website incorrectly labeled it as fitting my truck. And I got delayed opening up the kit, due to dealing with my wife's aggressive breast cancer surgeries, chemo, and radiation. I agreed to pay the return shipment costs and restock fees like any other customer. I also committed to buying a new more expensive kit. I was happy when customer service agreed the same day to a return: "Hello, *** We are sorry the kit didnt work for you...We are happy to take the kit back as long as it is in like new condition, has not been installed, and is in the factory box. Please let us know and we can get you the return info." On the following day, I contacted them, as instructed, for return and/or exchange instructions. I got a return response from customer service that they were trumped by the Warehouse, who said it was not returned within the time frame. Customer service should have known this already, having the order number from my initial email contact with them. So I appealed to the owner, via a 7/1/22 email to [email protected]. I said customer service is the face of the company, and should not tell the customer yes in one email one day, and then no in a later email the following day, because of a disagreement between company departments. If the warehouse is the decision maker on returns/exchanges, then make them the customer go-to, not customer service (which would be odd). To date, I have not gotten a response back from Nate D***** The exhaust kit has not chang*** It does not expire or spoil - it is stainless steel. It fits 2019* *** full size trucks, so it should not be in inventory long. They made a profit on it in the sale to me. I offered to pay a restock fee, even though the box is not damaged, and no re-stock fee is mentioned for exhaust systems on their website. They will make a profit on the second sale also. .
