BUYER BEWARE..Ordered a Safeguard building through a local vendor here in my town. Had got another estimate on a like building from someone else, but Safeguard was saying they would price match. So I went with the local vendor who ordered it through Safeguard; this was March 2024. Due to continued rains in our area, it took us a while to get our concrete slab poured for the building. We notified Safeguard that we were ready for the building in mid June. They called the week of July 22 and said that they would be delivering/installing the building on the 25th. Then the day before they are scheduled to bring my building to me, they called and told me that my building would not be delivered because the local vendor, who I bought it from for them, needed to reimburse them some money from my initial deposit to the local vendor. On top of this, my contract I had, they were saying I owed $430 more than the original contract said. I contacted my local vendor and they said that no one had ever contacted them from Safeguard until that very day. I talked with the manager *****, at Safeguard, and he told me that they would not be sending my building out until this local vendor sent them money (approximately 650$). I asked him why did they wait four months to ask for this money, as they had this contract since March??he just said, it is what it is. I said it was pretty crappy that they had this contract for 4 months, to get this straightened out, and then wait till the day before my delivery to hold up my building. I further told him they are very incompetent on their end, to have had this contract for four months and they are just now telling me that I cant get my building, four months later, because of a monetary error from the local vendor that has nothing to do with the buyer (me). I canceled my order and went with another vendor. I would never order from this company again. Buyer Beware!!!!!
