I am a renter and cannot get them to fix anything in my apartment. My air conditioning hasn't worked properly in over two months, my refrigerator freezes up and leaks water all over the floor and the freezer part doesn't close properly causing mold to be on the outside. In my hallway there is a water leak that has been leaking for almost two weeks now. The floor is starting to buckle and the carpet stinks because of the constant water falling. I have put a bowl down to catch some of the water but it doesn't help much. The bathroom tiles need to be fixed as well. I make calls every day multiple times a day and still cannot get them to send a maintenance man to fix anything. If my rent wasn't paid up for two months then I would. I have even requested a refund for my advanced rent payments so that I could move out but they refused. I have health problems and these living conditions are only making them worseBusiness response

Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2021/09/05) */ We have meet with Unit 217 (telephone), working to complete repairs. The office has requested a key to unit to assist in enter for Service Tech and maintains follow up. Consumer Response /* (3000, 8, 2021/09/06) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I had to pay someone to change the locks last year because I couldn't get them to do it for me. This was before I got sick in Dec. Since them I haven't been able to return to work as I am under a doctor's care. I am home and available except when I take my kids to school and pick them up. He did call me last week when I was in the pickup line at school but it doesn't take this long to fix anything. It took two weeks to send over a maintenance man who came in for 2 minutes and said he would report it to the boss that it required more work than he was able to do. Another maintenance man finally came to fix the leak in the hallway but the floor is damaged from having water dripping on it for such an extended period of time. The floor needs to be repaired now. These are just some of the phone calls that I've made to the office. If the management would have tried to do something months ago instead of saying I'll get on it just to get me off the phone I wouldn't have had to file a complaint. It's too hot for anyone to be forced to live without air conditioning.
