I went to Christian Brothers to get an estimate on my air conditioning problem on 2/10/2022. Someone recommended them to me. I had previously been using another company in town and I was pleased with their work, but I heard that Christian Brothers had a shuttle service so I thought I would try them out. That was a big mistake! They said they would do a diagnostic and so I said ok. After they performed the diagnostic, I agreed to pay $640.82. They explained that they had to replace the service port schrader valve and ac compressor cyclin switch, pressure switch and ac hose assembly. They told me it was ready and I picked it up and drove it home, but it didn’t feel like the air conditioning was any cooler than when I brought it in. So I called them back and they told me to bring it back in. So I brought it back in and they said they replaced a switch and I took it back home, but the air still was not any cooler. So I brought it back in and I asked them if they had put any Freon in it but no one gave me an answer. This time they told me that the compressor was leaking and I would need a new compressor and some other things and it was going to cost $1800.00. I refused the service because I never would have even started that adventure if they would have been honest upfront and would have told me that it was going to be a $2,500. job to begin with. So I ended up paying $640.82 for nothing. I don’t know if they forgot to put the Freon in or what, but I would definitely not recommend them. I will use the previous business that I was using before going there even though they do not have a shuttle service. I give CB Auto 2 stars, one for having a shuttle service and another one for being nice. They are so nice, I would say that it ranks right up there with passive aggressive nice.

This company charges way too much for its services, and they are also indifferent to customer needs. On their website, it states that a shuttle service is provided when cars are in shop for more than 1 day. My car was in their shop for more than 1 day. I called them to ask for a shuttle service so I could get my car. They refused, saying that the distance was too great. It is a 23 minute drive. They stated that they only provide shuttles if "it's like 10 minutes from our shop", which is not what you find on their site. They offered to charge me an **** and add it to my bill as if that was some kind of substitution. The individual I spoke with from the shop expressed that I the customer was to blame, and was not apologetic in the least. When you abuse your customers, it does not go well for you. I find it hard to believe that Christian should be in the title of this particular shop. Go somewhere else.

CBA what a blessing they all truly are to go and fix my newly bought used/unsafe truck and they have gone above and beyond the call of duty!!
How truly grateful, I am to Michael and the mechanic and their whole work family team. So Professional and caring at what they do!!
