  I am filing a complaint regarding the very early pick up time (3:30 a.m.) for our trash service. It wakes me up every Thursday morning and most of the time I am unable to fall back asleep and I have to be up by 6am to get ready for work. My husband and I both have called to complain and they give us different answers to why this occurs. They told me that it was due to hot weather and they don't want their employees working in the heat of the day. She basically ended the call with there is nothing we can do. They told my husband when he called today it is because they have so much business that they have 3 different schedules now and have to be at the city dump by 4:00 p.m. or they can't dump all the trash. He mentioned going to another company and they said there is nothing we can do and may be someone else can serve you better. I called another company that services our area and it will be serval weeks before they can get us a trash can and there is a $25 activation fee to start the new service. I am trying to understand how this company can schedule a truck route to come so early in the morning and distrup our sleep and say there is nothing that can be done. It is extremely loud and I feel this needs to be addressed and not blown off. I pay my **** on time by auto draft monthly. Isn't there a noise ordinance that can help with this?

  We do realize that this is an early time of the day, but we are also concerned with the well being of our employees.  This is a very difficult job and comes with many risks - the early morning hours are necessary for their safety and of others.  Heat is an extreme factor right now and we have had some suffer from the heat.  Traffic in *****/***** County is beyond congested and early morning hours eliminate situations for holding up traffic and accidents happening.  That has happened numerous times as well.  ************** this is a huge factor with children waiting on school buses, people walking in neighborhoods etc...Even road crews are working during the night time for all of these reasons as well.  We do extend our apologies and ask for understanding.  It's not a job that many will do but it sure is great to have your trash removed without fail every week.

  I am rejecting this response because:

  Again, as mentioned in my initial complaint, this response has more reasons to why they arrive so early for pickup   It has been mentioned by phone and in this response there is concern for their employees but nothing mentioned concern for the customer  No apology, just concerned about themselves and their schedule  

  I was very sick this week and its sad when your sleep is disturbed in the early morning and it affects your whole day  We use a fan and air purifier which blocks out the majority of any noise  Our neighborhood is very quiet so any loud noise is heard easily
