We purchased a Manufacture Home from Modular Home of America in 2018. House was brought out in April 2019. We told the seller and the builder, Franklin Homes about the ceiling cracks. Franklin Homes sent out a repairman who stated not enough screws was placed horizontal in the marriage line and that's why the ceiling is cracking. Modular Home of America construction manager, Randy Miller told us not enough screws was placed in the marriage line of the ceiling. Once the ceiling cracks was repaired, within a couple of weeks the ceiling cracks was back. We been trying to get Modular Home of America to repair the cracks. We called both seller and builder in reference to the ceiling cracks. They both was contracted during the warranty period. Randy Miller, construction manager had us to get bids for the repairs. We got 4 bids and Randy Miller, construction manager didn't accept neither bid stating each bid was too high. Randy Miller sent out a repairman to add extra vents in the skirting and repaired storm doors as required by HUD but the ceiling cracks the repairman stated it requires a few days to repair. Also that ceiling cracks isn't coming from moisture, under the house was dry and it need to be cut out to be replaced correctly and the ceiling is beginning to buckle. We contacted the builder and seller once again in reference to our ceiling cracks. We just want the builder, Franklin Homes or the seller, Modular Home of America to repair our ceiling cracks the correct way, put the amount of screws needed in the marriage line of the house, live up to their contract & not half do or cut corners on repairs. We also found out every appliance such as the hot water heater & a/c coil is discontinued and we had problems with each one. A/C coil leaked water on the floor and the installer told us they recieved the a/c system from the builder, wanted to charge us for another coil. Hot water heater leaked water & we had to get it fixed, both of these items came with the house.

Randy told us ****** ****** will be giving us a call & it should be by the 1st of January 2022. Randy assured us he will make sure our ceiling cracks get fixed. We told Randy we will take him at his word and we just following the steps. Randy's worker ****** ****** haven't contacted us as of yet and we informed Randy we will be out of town on December 20-27 & anytime after that would be great. Randy thought the ceiling cracks were hairline cracks and we told him no & showed him pictures. Paul informed Randy that the ceiling cracks were big enough to stick a credit card through. We have a place where the two halves of our modular home has cracked on 3 separate occasions. ******** homes attempted to fix the issue twice and then said it was out of warranty, we have had the home 2 years. Mr. ****** told me on multiple occasions that they dealer would fix the problem. He also stated that the "setup crew and finish crew" both told him that the home was not joined correctly. He stated that he would pay to have the house fixed. That was in December of 2020. In May of 2021 we were told we were next on the list to have the house fixed. We have not seen anyone to do the work. Mr ****** has lied to us from the beginning that things would be done that have not or were not done. We want our house to be fixed.
