    Went to buy a puppy, store manager said the puppy needed a final vet clearance and we had to wait til the next day to pick the puppy up. They said the vet comes in between 12-4 and we will be able to pick it up after that. We did not receive any calls/ or any form of communication stating the vet wasnt coming in and now we can not pick up our dog. My husband called and they told him she hasnt been cleared and they dont know when she will be. They made sure we paid the deposit and signed all the documents however now dont know when we will get our dog. We will be paying over 5700 for this dog who is not even in our care. Once I brought this to the store managers attention he blatantly down played my frustration and basically said I was selfish and they wont change rush their vet. Also stated that I should care about the well being of a living being, which shouldnt be an issue if they actually did have the puppy cleared prior to adoption. They should never put an animal up for adoption until it has been 100% CLEARED! Do not do business with these people they are rude and have no respect for their customers.

    I purchased a Cavalier **** ******* Spaniel from Petland on 04/08/2023, I was told the puppy was healthy and that there was a 30 day health ************ puppy has been ill since I got him. Within 36 hours he needed to be hospitalized at my vet, he was severely anemic. I took him in for a new puppy check and had also noticed blood in his stool that morning. The vet stated it was probably intestinal worms but the test came back negative and this could be due to the watery/bloody stools he was having. He had to be hospitalized, have several tests completed and was prescribed multiple medications when released to me the next day. I reached out to the company, and they called today and stated that they will be reimbursing me for the medications only. When I complained to them about the puppy healthy 30-day guarantee, I was told that it only covers medications and not testing or hospitalization. You have to have test done to find out the ******** puppy could have any of multiple issues causing his anemia and this will be an ongoing issue for the next month at least. Hopefully, he will get a clean bill of health soon. I don't want to return him and I'm not looking for a refund of any kind. I just want other people to beware of this place since they say all the right things to get you to buy the puppy but when there is an issue the don't stand behind their promises.
