Roof was replaced approx 17 months ago and is now leaking to where the kitchen ceiling needs to be replaced. This company has been contact numerous times in the last couple of months as the roof is still under warranty. This company is no longer answer phone calls and has made many appointments to come and never show up. Then one time we was told the only guy that does repairs is on vacation and then he never showed up. Someone finally showed up and only glued a shingle down to hold it over until someone could come and fix the problem and replace the ceiling in our kitchen.Business response

This roof was repaired on 11/1/23. The client was completely Satisfied with the roof repair and the Interior Repair. We strive to always take care of our clients. And just like this one we have ********** of also..

When we were purchasing a house 6 months ago we had ASAP roofing come out and conduct a roof inspections. The inspector reported no real issues, just some issues of concerns regarding old shingles and flashing around the chimey area. We had to call ASAP roofing regarding a leaking roof in the last 30 days. When I was speaking to intake person she was able to pull up in their system that the same leak we were reporting had been repoted by the prevous home owner. When I asked the inspector why they didn't tell us about the reported leak prior the comment was made " i never checked the computer". We were then passed off to another inspector with ASAP roofing who came out and provided us a qoute. The inspector was also able to pull up the documented leak by the previous homeowners. We asked ASAP roofing to split the cost of the repair since they failed to mention the doucmented leak during the first inspection. If ASAP would have mentioned the documented leak we could have investigated if it was fixed prior to purchasing the home.I was told by the inspector even though they had the previous leak documented it is not thier responisbility to report the documented leak. We were asking ASAP to split the repair cost with us but he insisted they are not required to report a previous doucmented leak and they would not be spliting the qoute.Business response

We pride ourself's in the *********************** In this Case we don't know if any companies have done work on the roof after we provide estimates so we don't assume previous leaks are still leaking.We just give our opinion for Free. You can however pay a certified inspector or engineer to give a full report based off your concerns.Unfortanely in this situation we are to Provide our Clients with a roofing opinion with the Best solution Possible and as the Law states we are Not able to disclose any infomation on the property our about any Client Infomation We as a roofing company have a Obligation to uphold the privacy of each one of our Client's.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because after speakng with the gentleman who inspected our roof the comment was made " I messed up. I should have checked the computer before coming out". When I called to report the leak the phone operator who took my information was able to immediately communicate a past reported leak Surely, if a phone operator takes my information and can immediately see a reported past leak a trianed sales agent could have done the same.

Our Company has a duty to Inspect and Give a option to Repair our Replace there current roofing system. Its a misfortune that the previous Owner didn't accept our Repair Estimate to Repair the leak. And that burden was passed to you as the New Buyer. We have given you a repair Estimate also and at this point that hasnt been accepted. At this point we haven't had no agrement to Make any services to the property.
