      Myself and my family member experienced a out right lie from this dishonest business. They said we needed PCM part related to our alternator on our vechical they already changed the alternator a few mos. Before but now the battery keeps dying and having them Do another diagnostic on it. They replaced the alternator now this time they put in a OEM one (it should have always been a OEM one that was put in NOT any other & they charged $1,200...very high) the charge for a rare PCM is $1,400 they tried to charge us...And that our vehicle wouldn't start if we didn't have it replaced, We believed they were being dishonest with us. (So we didn't fall for the lie & sure enough)So we had AAA replace the battery and towed to another shop Not knowing that we could just drove out of there. Another automotive place that AAA recommended. And they said we DID NOT NEED A PCM valve! Also the new Auto mechanic said did you know your AC doesn't work. We think they did something to that. Long story short they over charge for things that might not need fixing and or bait & switch other auto parts they put in..extremely dishonest company. Would recommend stay far away from VICTORY LANE ** *****.

      This vehicle was towed to our shop for a no start concern and we found the battery had been recently replaced and was bad (***** Volts and only 243/850 CCA). The customer declined our battery replacement and had AAA come and replace it in our parking lot since it was under warranty. After the battery was replaced the vehicle would start, we began testing and found at idle the charging voltage would drop as low as ***** Volts randomly and this issue was intermittent, we suspected the intermittent charging issue was the reason the new battery from AAA went bad so quickly as it was less than a month old and we needed to be sure to prevent any further inconvenience. Using a bi directional scan tool we found no fault codes or data to indicate an error was present while at the same time using a multimeter proving there was one. We suspect the initial alternator failure from January damaged the pwm (pulse width modulation) controller in the **** The issue only occurs after the vehicle has been idling for a period of time. To confirm we installed an OEM alternator under warranty at no additional cost to the customer and eventually we were  able to produce the very same results. We found multiple ***************** Bulletins (********** & *********) for the vehicle that we tested and confirmed did not apply. We were very clear with the customer about the vehicle being drivable and that it would eventually damage another battery resulting in another no start concern. The customer was never charged for any of this while it was at our shop and we were diligent and persistent in finding a solution. We are sorry to hear the customer feels this way as we feel we went above and beyond not only with the time spent but also with the information provided. We do apologize about the ** concern because the technician accidentally damaged a hose and we were waiting for the replacement part to arrive when a tow truck came and picked up the vehicle. That part is here at our shop ready to be installed at no cost to the customer. We had been communicating with ******* the entire time and she was relaying a lot of detailed information to this gentleman regarding what was going on. There was no reason for the vehicle to be towed from our facility and we felt surprised they sent a tow truck at all. We stand behind the information and work provided and are ready to replace the ** hose when the customer is able to bring the vehicle back to us. I called ******* a couple times to even go and pick the vehicle up so we could replace the part and return the vehicle back to her but she did not answer the phone or return any of my calls.

      My first impression about victory lane was they are pricey! My last impression about victory lane is that they are dishonest and unprofessional. I left a ****** review about my experience which prompted the Manager to call me. It's noteworthy to mention that he didn't call from a recognizable number(work) nor did he leave a message. The manager claimed he wanted to "make it right", but he never stated how he would be willing to do so. Instead he left it to me to say what I felt was right. Ultimately, he didn't want to take any accountability for the inconveniences he caused, and nothing was resolved over the phone. The manager then proceeded to respond to my ****** review in which he told one lie after another. I refuted his lies and provided actual proof by posting images of paperwork and texts that was completely contrary to everything he wrote. I even have a recording of him quoting me a much a higher price than he claimed in his response. So, not only am I unhappy with the service I was provided, I'm equally if not more unhappy with the way my honest review was handled. He would have been better off ignoring it, rather than blatantly lying about everything.
