On 10/26 **** came out to inspect damage on our garage door. I paid the $125 fee required and he also asked for a $100 deposit for the panel he ordered right in front of me & said he would return on 11/7 to install as well as replace the button on the garage door opener on the wall. I texted him on 11/7 no response. I texted and called over the next few days. He responded on 11/9 "Update on part coming sometime tomorrow will install Friday am". Friday (11/11) came and went. I've repeatedly contacted **** via text and vm but he never responds. I've also informed him my garage is malfunctioning & if he would return the $100 since he has not returned to do the work. Still no word. When he installed our garage door in 2015 his service was good. It is a shame it has declined. Wish I'd read reviews on this company before seeking them to do my latest repair.Initial Complaint

The owner of DFW Door Express, Allen, TX 75002, ************ installed 2 batteries into my front gate. These cost $65 each. He said he could install 2 more batteries for $65 each as back ups and tune up my 4 garage door openers for $116. There was a labor charge of $99. He said he needed to be paid up front before he did this additional work. I wrote hime a check for the total of $475. The additional work was about $350. He was supposed to do the additional work the next day. He never came back. I have called and left messages. He does not answer my calls. He has not responded in any way. He is the man who installed my original equipment. I want the additional money ($350) back that I advanced him. I do not want him back on my property. I do not trust him anymore. I have the billing statement marked PAID. It is obvious that I have only the original 2 batteries he installed. I will try to attach it to this. If not I can send it to you separately.Initial Complaint

We hired Bill, owner of DFW Door Express to repair our electric gate in September 2021. He'd done work on our garage door in the past and that job was completed with no issues. Per our conversation and my receipt, the gate was to be completed by October 16, 2021. He asked for 1/2 up front so I sent him $1800 via ************. That was the last time we spoke to him. He will not answer or return calls, or messages left via his********* page. We want our money back and are considering smalls claims court.
