      We purchased a utility/carport from Superior Carports on 7/24/12. Paid $2,660.11. We were given a 20 year warranty on our structure at the time of purchase. It was set up on our property by Superior Carports. The structure has held up well except we have one bolt that has rusted and created a problem on the back side of the structure. I have contacted by email and they first said the warranty wouldn't cover because of where we live (why give it to us at purchase?????) then told it was due to soil contact (structure sits on concrete), then told it was because of contact with concrete (the rust is approx. 3 inches above where the structure meets the concrete) and finally because is is a horizontal structure (Which I'm clueless what this means). I feel that this company sells their product backed by this super great warranty but when repairs are necessary will not stand behind their word. The website says 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed!!!! Also I cannot get a name of a supervisor or speak to anyone other than the girl (****) that answers the phone. She says the company representatives will not take or return calls to consumers. I feel this is a very poor practice for a business. The back panel has a bottom part that is pieced in and this is where the rust has started. I am not asking for them to replace the entire back panel only the bottom rusted piece.

      As we do understand the customers frustration, the warranty does state that **Deterioration of the panels caused directly or indirectly by panel contact with concrete,asphalt, gravel, dirt, mulch or ANY corrosive material. The units location is in *********, **. This area is surrounded by salt water, which will cause damage to any metal within time and this unit was put ** in 2012.

      I am rejecting this response because: As stated- You sold me the warranty in *********. The corrosion as you can see in the pictures is not where the the building touches any ground material. It is up above the ground. Why would you sell a warranty that you know is of not use to your customer. ******** is not at a ****** nor subject to spraying of salt water. If the corrosion was at the ground level I might buy this, but clearly it's not as the pictures show. Also, ******** has to either sit on concrete,  gravel, asphalt or some ground material!!!!! I just believe Superior Carports, **** is at fault and needs to repair this one panel. If it was due to the area we live in the entire shed would have issues and it's only the one spot that is causing a problem.
