On 5/13/2022, Janak plumbing was called to come to the residence to remove a shower faucet handle that was stuck. Once they removed the handle, it also caused damage to the rest of the trim assembly. At that point, they went and brought a new but different trim assembly to install. The new trim assembly did not work with the shower handle that the home owner wanted. They proceeded to install the handle knowing it would free rotate and fail to control shower temperature. On 6/6/2022, they were called out to remedy the free rotating handle which was installed last time. They installed a clear shower handle which came with the trim assembly that they installed during the first visit. That fixed the problem. However they decided to charge the home owner $150 to fix the mistake that they caused from their first installation. Home owner talked to the business owner and the business owner claimed that home owner accepted a "free rotating shower handle" which did not control shower temperature from the first service. That could not be further from the truth. Who in their right mind would accept a broken shower handle that doesn't control shower water temperature? When home owner told the business owner that she would proceed with a BBB complaint, his response was:"I don't care. You can do whatever you want." Home owner demands a refund from the 2nd service visit because the purpose was to repair the mistake that they have left the first time.Business response
