On March 21, 2022, we contracted *************************, owner of ACAR Excavation and Septic Ststems. The owner, *************************, scammed us out of our deposit. He required $4000 deposit for septic installation. He had said we would have septic designs within 1-2 weeks. When 2 weeks passed, we reached out, and he started giving us the runaround. He gave excuses for almost 6 weeks. We were patient and trusting, and he took advantage. He never sent an engineer to visit the site to start on the design. ******************** lied to us that he had already paid county fees for permits but there was no design yet so he couldnt have done that. On April 26th, he eventually agreed to refund us the $4,000. He first sent us $2000 on April 28th and said there was a limit on his transfers so he would send the other $2000 the next day. The next day he said the bank put a hold on his check so he would sent it on Monday. After that, we never received the other $2000 of our refund and he stopped responding to our texts and calls. For whatever reasons, ******************** failed to uphold his end of the deal, lied to us, gave us the runaround, kept half of our money, and never delivered what he was contracted to do.

On November 15, 2021 I signed a contract with ************************* the owner of Acar Excavation/Construction. The contract was to put concrete runners for a mobile home, install a septic system, demo and remove a structure, and install a well pump to connect water to home. The total contract is for $16,000 and I gave him half of the money $8,000. He was supposed to have the runners ready but consistently did not show up to the job. I had to call another guy to come and help get the runners set up for delivery of the home. He did some demo but has not finished to this day. The septic has not been started on and nothing has been done to the well. I have gone back and forth with him since November to finish the job and he continually says he is working on it, order materials and going to finish it but the job remains the same - He has ceased communication and minimal/partial work has been done.

I sold my rental home and contracted with ACAR, ************************* to build an RV park as a like kind exchange of rental property. He agreed to complete the job in 45 days (by the end of January). At first, he started on the job, finished the entrance, delivered 9 loads of gravel, brought a septic tank. **** told me to pay him more installments so I did. I paid him $35,000. As soon as I made the last payment he stopped working. I asked him what the problem was and he said no PVC pipe was available so i purchased the pipe. He came and installed part of the sewer pipe and once again stopped work. Mostly there are now big holes in my land and nothing completed. My farmland has been put out of production. I anticipated renting RV spaces in February and I have no income from that because the job has been abandoned.
