2 representatives from ******** came to our house. They were at our home for 4 hours. They said they wanted us to speak to the director of our current policy to see if the money we had on that policy would we be able to transfer, so we wouldn't lose any money. We talked to the director and he said we were in total control of it and it wouldn't make much of a difference to go with other company. We decided not to go with the policy from American Amicable Life Insurance. We told ***** to not take any money out until we speak with him. We called him that Friday and told him to cancel it and not take any money out. He said to not worry and he wouldn't take any money out. I saw on my bank statement money was taken out  from two companies. We were able to get a refund for the other company. We've contacted ***** about getting a refund from Amicable Life Insurance and now he will not answer our calls. I spoke to someone else from the company and I was told to write a letter stating we didn't authorize the charge. We wrote the letter and mailed it to the business. They said they didn't receive the letter so we wrote a second letter two weeks later. They've taken out 5 payments of $89.66 for my husband. It has now been over a month and they have not followed up with us.
