****** Invoice #****** ******** 30 Rustic Timber LP manual fireplace logs Our goal is acquiring assistance in obtaining a $1,261.11 refund on defective gas fireplace logs. We are in our mid-70s and knew nothing about gas fireplace logs so we were looking for help to make a purchase.We purchased in January, and the owner of company put the gas log manifold together for us saying he would have to charge to come to our home if he installed the logs. He said there is nothing to setting it up, that all we were required to do was arrange the logs as shown on information sheet. There was a delay in the gas company coming out to our home to test and fill our propane tank due to weather and customer backup. When our first opportunity for propane delivery finally occurred today, February 16, 2022, the propane delivery driver came into the house to verify that all was correct and operational. He found the gas shut off mechanism on the logs faulty and allowing gas to leak. He red tagged the logs signifying not to be used due to safety issues. We called the local fireplace company where the fireplace logs were purchased to inform of the problem. We were told he could not replace, refund or warranty used logs, but he could come out to check on the hook up, but would charge for driving all the way out to ***** Spring if set up was okay. He was extremely rude to both my husband and me on the phone today so I told him he was speaking disrespectfully to us and he said, I dont have time for this, Im with a customer. and he abruptly ended the conversation, disconnecting the call as I was trying to talk, with difficulty, due to his multiple interruptions. We now know that we should not have bought from him as we look back on our encounters with him being arrogant and impolite from the beginning. We determined after todays call hoping for resolution, that his business ethics are totally lacking and he is not willing to resolve our problem with the faulty product purchase.
