****** Holmes came out to work on my well. He brought a young kid and had him doing all the work. I have nothing against teaching the younger generation, but ****** did NOTHING but bark orders at the boy. The piping was not fitted properly. Less than three weeks later, after vibration from the motor and bladder tank the pipe broke off at the pump. The well went down and my well house flooded. I tried for 24 hrs to call him. I had tenants living there. He would not answer my calls or come out. I sent several text messages. ****** Holmes does extremely poor-quality work, takes your money, and then will not return with things go wrong. STAY AWAY FROM HIM and find someone else. You will be better off!

****** Holmes is not a licensed well driller. He is not authorized to sub-contract a well drilling company. He advertises as a well driller and quotes a competitive price. What you get is poor quality work that does not meet state regulations and is not listed as a legitimate well with the state of Texas. Our well never worked correctly from the beginning. A trickle of milky water stored in a green tank (agriculture use not potable water). We tried for months to get him to service the well. He never returned phone calls and now the well stopped working. We are newly retired and have no water. After calling the Texas Ground Water Conservation District to complain, they examined our well and stated it did not meet regulations in 4 areas. They recommended that I file a complaint with The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. I did and found there was no record of a legitimate well on my property. They will be conducting their own investigation as well. My wife and I just retired and moved to the country. We are not in a position to go without water or drop a lot of money drilling another well. We have been told the well will need to be plugged and a new well properly drilled by a licensed drilling service. Stay away from Holmes Well Service (****** Holmes).
