The market is a vendor base store. I was a vendor from June 15 - July 26 because the owner ended my lease because I asked her for a copy of my contract where it showed my signature. She owed me funds from my sales from July 1 - July 26 totaling $860.00. She sent us an email stating to send apology letters to her attorney and she would pay us. We did not. Another vendor contacted us in August and stated they saw a check for us on the wall in the back office, so we called the owner and she said we will be contacted by her attorney to get the check (even though she had our address). I then called the attorney for about 2 weeks and finally was told that the attorney did not represent her or the business. I tried calling back to the business and she refuses to talk our calls or text messages. I just want the money owed to me for sales before she breached her contract with me. I am also not the only vendor she has done this to. I have communications with another vendor that was there a short time and they owe him $550. I do not see how this business can get away with taking small business money when she knows it isn't worth the money to hire an attorney. I contacted a few and they all said they would charge me MORE than what she owes me. I also do not want to take to small claims because she won't provide a copy of the contract because there isn't one, there is only a ****** form she created and was told that would not hold ** in court. I feel lost and not sure where else to go for help.
