  OUTRAGEOUSLY OVERPRICED! Our back faucet sprung a leak so we called Plumb Shield to fix it before our yard flooded. They said we were required to pay $200 before they’d even send someone to our house. Then once here they charged us another $678.62 just to replace the single faucet which took them approximately 20 minutes. So for less that 30mins of work we had to pay a total of $878.62! The first time my husband called while trying to asses the situation they hung up on him. The second time he called asking to have someone dispatched only the emergency fee for $200 was mentioned. But after the spigot had went from a leak to a full blown flood is when my husband called the third time and they required him to give his card information before even dispatching anyone, never once did they explain the fees of the work. It wasn’t until the plumbers were here seeing our faucet leak did they explained how much more we’d have to pay before they’d even shut the water off. I left a review on their site and in response they called my husband and I dishonest liars. When I further responded they blocked me and deleted my review so others cannot see(the same review pasted in this text box) How is it dishonest to be dissatisfied with the price we were required to pay when we were given two options; to let our yard flood and cause more damage or pay your outrageous fee? They claim their prices are fair and competitive but how is it fair to charge nearly $1,000 for 20 minutes of work? Nearly $1,000 to simply replace a spigot.

  I am writing complaint against Plumb shield Plumbing. I had a service call with on 10/6/2023. My toilets was not that was the reason for the service. I have elderly 2 people in the home with ailment. They came out and trying to use the snake in the toilet and they stop and put the toilet back toilet.. Charging me a ******* , I was showing the plumber that water was still coming for under the toilet he said oh its just a little water. Two hours later the problems that I was before I call the plumber was still occurring he did not fix anything . I call him and text there office. I let the know what happening no one came back or anything . I have elderly people with no working plumbing *****************

  Referred by a friend after finding our my insurance was not going to cover plumbing repairs caused flooding in my home. ************** we professional and explained everything I also was able to get financed with them. I am retired nurse and was very nervous about the possibility of having to sell my home. My husband passed away two years ago and this is something he would've handled. From start to finish the office and plumbers were able to walk me everything. Plumbing fixed and inspected.

  To who ever needs a plumber DO NOT CALL the people at Plumb Shield Plumbers the price they quote you isnt the price they charge you, it went from 270 to ****** to unclog a drain. The kid doesn't know how to talk to people or explain anything. I'm a single mother of one with no help and i could pay ****** but then it went up to the ****** and when i called the office for a better explanation the manager ********* was beyond rude and didn't help me. i explain to her that he didnt explain it correctly but then she got mean and rude. someone else called also for me and she called him a Fkn Liar so there ya go thats how they treat their patrons.

  Hello ******************************,Again, we are sorry you feel this way, and you are entitled to write as many factual reviews as you want. We see that you followed through with your threat. The work was explained, and prices were explained UP FRONT as we advertise. **************** and per the recorded calls neither you or your husband (presented himself) (the man) that also called in two days after you authorized serviced both mentioned more than once that he wrote up the estimates and you authorized them. The work you authorized relived your stoppage. In those recorded calls you or your husband or the man that presented himself as your husband **************** were not cursed at. Our plumbers are known for their exceptional communication and you, and your husband were both home and both authorized the repairs day of service. **************** to call back two days later and claim that you did not authorize the price that was written on your signed invoice. Very odd. Please be aware that all of our phone calls are recorded shame on you for not being honest and authorizing work you dont want to pay for **************** . You have a blessed day.

  On January 9th at approximately 7p we noticed that our house was backing up, we had water/sewage coming into our bathtubs and mas shower. We called Plumb Shield Plumbing and were told the trip charge would be $200.00 which we felt was extremely high BUT we were in a pinch and they obviously knew it. ***** showed up and didnt even run any sort of diagnostic, he LOOKED at our mas shower and told my husband that it would cost $600.00 to repair???? Repair what??? ***** didnt do anything to even determine what he needed to repair! My husband told him no thanks and showed him the door. We feel like we were being taken advantage of given the time of day (before 8p) and the lack of transparency given ***** would not explain what exactly needed to be done. We will be disputing the $200.00 trip charge, not only a waste of our hard earned money but also our time. Bad business IMO.

  Hello CelesteJones, Sorry you feel this way. The plumber did provide the estimate. And yes, as explained over the phone on the recorded call the fee to arrive after 5 is subject to an emergency fee which is explained and taken over the phone PRIOR to sending a plumber. And in the recorded call the dispatcher offered you first thing in the morning for a free appointment to avoid the fee, because as you stated you had another working toilet. You do not have an accessible clean out and the plumber will need to charge accordingly. CelesteJones you were not on the property, just your inebriated husband who quickly became combative with my plumber and began to insult him. ************************* CelesteJones good luck with your plumbing repairs.
