****** of Hat Creek Corgis sells dogs with hook worms and parasites. When I reached out to her asking to cover my costs in dealing with the problem. After several hours of long text messages, excuses, and other conjecture. Her ********s devolved into 'all dogs have worms,' 'I don't care what you say you're being **** and you're being stupid,' and 'You're ******* I'm doing anything.' Eventually after arguing and insulting me, she went on a long sermon invoking God while claiming she was going to send 'something.'After all that she sent a screenshot of a payment that never went through. In addition to the worms, the facility was dirty, poorly maintained, and the dog was not groomed. At the time I decided I'd rather just go along with things rather than derail a nice surprise for my family. Obviously this was a mistake, as by her own admission all her dogs have worms. I beg anyone looking for a corgi, or any animal in the ******** or ***** area to use a different breeder. I'm sure this will receive another long, rambling, faux Christian ******** like her other one star reviews, but for anyone interested in what she actually has to say to customers once she has their money I'd be happy to share evidence including the text messages with the quotes above.Hat Creek Corgis Response

I am addressing Mr. ******* complaint, which contains numerous inaccuracies and misrepresentations. Throughout our interactions, **************** repeatedly called me a liar, despite my efforts to provide clear explanations and assistance. Here are the facts:1. Worms in Puppies: * It is a well-documented fact that certain worm larvae, such as roundworms and hookworms, can lie dormant in a dogs tissues, including muscles and organs, for extended periodssometimes even years. ***se larvae can reactivate under certain conditions, such as stress, a weakened immune system, or whelping, and develop into adult worms. * *** standard protocol for worming a puppy starts at two weeks of age because the larvae can be transmitted from the mother during whelping and through her milk. By two weeks, the worms have matured enough to be effectively treated. I explained this to ****************, but he accused me of lying. * To manage this risk, I provided **************** with the necessary deworming medication for his eight-week-old puppy, who was in the middle of a three-day worming protocol, along with clear instructions on completing the treatment. Despite this, **************** chose not to use the medication, claiming the tubes were unmarked and expressing distrust in the white liquid provided. He demanded that I cover the cost of the medication his vet provided, which was the same wormer I gave him but in a powder form and more expensive.2. Probiotics: * I sold **************** high-quality probiotics to support his puppys gut health, which is particularly important during the deworming process. *** puppy has been on them since a baby. Due to a shortage of labeled bottles, I provided the probiotics in an unlabeled glass spice bottle, explaining the situation to both **************** and his wife. ***y both agreed it was acceptable, saying they do the same thing at home. * I also directed **************** to my website for detailed ingredient information and offered to connect him directly with the manufacturer. When he began harassing me three days later, demanding a refund, accusing me of giving him a bottle of flour instead of probiotics. Despite my efforts to explain and reassure him, **************** continued to harass me throughout the day, calling me a liar repeatedly, even after I agreed to refund his money. I explained that regardless of what he thought was in the bottle it was probiotics, which I buy in bulk and package as needed, and it would benefit the puppy to give them to him. He said no I was a liar and I said he was being **** and stupid to not give them.3. Puppy Care and Training: * **************** complained that the puppy had many, many issues, but refused to specify what those issues were or allow me to address his concerns or speak. His primary complaint was that the puppy had worms, which I had already addressed by providing the appropriate treatment. * Additionally, he expressed anger that the eight-week-old puppy...let me repeat that...eight-weel-old-puppy was not fully crate-trained and housebroken. I explained that at such a young age, puppies typically require continued training and patience to become fully housebroken and accustomed to a crate. I also informed him that my puppies are trained to use a doggie door, to which he responded, "Well, I don't have one." Despite this, **************** continued to accuse me of dishonesty regarding the puppys training.4. Facility and Cleanliness: * **************** claimed my facility was poorly maintained and that the puppy was dirty when he picked it up. However, these claims are completely unfounded. **************** picked up the puppy just 30 minutes after I had bathed it, right when I got back from church and the puppy was still slightly damp when he arrived. * Furthermore, **************** never actually saw my facility, as he remained on my front porch the entire time, where my grandchildren play and we ***. His comments about the condition of my facility are baseless, as he stood next to the *** grill the entire time. Once again, he accused me of lying yet it seems to to be me.5. Lifetime Guarantee: * **************** was instructed several times to sign the health guarantee and to register his puppy for the free medical coverage that was available, but he failed to do so. Despite this, he later accused me of dishonesty regarding the guarantee, even though I had provided all necessary information and instructions.6. Harassment and Threats: * **************** continued to send harassing messages from 8 AM to 5 PM, repeatedly calling me a liar and threatening to slander me if I didnt comply with his demands for a refund and other unreasonable requests, such as covering the cost to treat his yard with pesticides. My vet specifically advised against this, stating it was unnecessary and could do more harm than good. *** vet said, "It's a little overkill...all you need to do is pick up the dog p*** and finish worming the puppy. ***re is a bigger chance of your dog being reinfected by going to a puppy park."Conclusion: I am uncertain why **************** filed this complaint, as I fulfilled all my obligations, including refunding his money, providing him a screen shot of the transaction and providing detailed care instructions for his puppy. Throughout our interactions, **************** continually questioned my integrity and repeatedly called me a liar, despite my best efforts to act professionally and in good faith. I have text messages that clearly demonstrate my transparency and commitment to ensuring the well-being of his puppy. Unfortunately, Mr. ******* behavior was uncooperative, unreasonable, and unjustified.Review from Chad T

We purchased a puppy from Hat Creek *****'s about a year ago and it was honestly the best decision we have ever made. He is the cutest and sweetest puppy that I have ever seen. The pictures can be misleading because it seems too good to be true but trust me, they really are that cute in person. I would 100% recommendReview from Amanda B

I would like to show some appreciation and a big thank you for Selina at Hat Creek Corgi. I have purchased three of her beautiful puppies and they are smart and beautiful. I went to her ranch to pick up my youngest girl and she has an amazing set up . They are well taken care of and the living quarters are spotless. She knows her animals and the knowledge she has about each one is amazing. I am very glad that I found this Lady and thanks to the family that recommended her.Review from Becky H

My experience with Hat Creek Corgis and Selina G was nothing but excellent. I had followed her Facebook page for months before I was ready for a puppy. When the time was right, I contacted her about the puppy I wanted. The process of making a deposit and final payment was very simple. My puppy arrived safely by the transport company that she uses. My puppy was bright, socialized, friendly and smart. He was easy to train and housebreak. Selina enjoys getting pictures and updates on the puppies. I would not hesitate to purchase another puppy from her. I find her to be very honest and easy to do business with. I highly recommend Selina and Hat Creek Corgis!Review from Deborah B

Our experience with Hat Creek is such a blessing. We bought a 10-week-old female that is named, Maggie Mae. Soon after Maggie came to live with us our vet gave her a health check. And told us she was a healthy pup. Maggie has never been sick. She is now almost 3 years old. She is a healthy loving dog. Every time Maggie goes out and about she is the center of attention. She is that pretty and loves people. Any questions I may Seline is there to answer. I can not imagine going to any other breeder than Hat Creek Corgis for the next addition to our family.Review from Sharon H

I recently purchased a puppy from Hat Creek Corgis. The puppy arrived with a cough that would cause him to gage snd throw up. Took then pup into my vet for wellness check from purchase and found ticks embedded in the left side of his body. He was infested with hook worms and had an upper respiratory infection. I gave $2000 for this pup and tried to go back on her website to see the parents of my pup. I could not find the parents of my pup among her dogs. I won't purchase from her again and I hope we can get the cough with this little guy cleared up and it isn't something much worse. Buyers beware.Hat Creek Corgis Response

The last and only communication I received from the buyer was a text that said and I quote, "Just wanted to let you know the puppy arrived and we fell in love the moment we set eyes on him. He didn't get named BUCK, but did get Zek and we are so happy with our choice. Thank You again." As outlined in my Health Guarantee, Buyer is to take puppy to vet within 72 hours or receiving puppy and notify me immediately with the results of the exam either by text or email they can send me a copy of the report. Buyer did not do this so I was unaware of anything she may have been unhappy with. I am in North Texas and we have cedar trees and with those comes ticks...it's Texas there is going to be ticks and if a tick is on you or your dog 99% of the time it's going to be imbedded... thats what ticks do. As far as worms, those are older than dinosaurs and impossible to completely eliminate. All dog have them and they can hibernate in the muscle tissues and wait for an opportune moment to rear their ugly head. All you can do is worm your animal on a regular basis. That is why worm, flea and tick pills are subscribed on a MONTHLY basis by your vet. Puppies on the other hand are too little for those RX so you can only administer what is safe, which I do starting at 2 weeks of age. That is why it is also stated in my Health Guarantee to make sure your vet gives you at least 3 days of Panacur or safeguard wormer so the protocol can continue to protect your puppy. I truly am sorry 😞 the buyer feels I did wrong by her. But as I mentioned, buyer did not reach out to me to let me know any of this. I never received a copy of the wellness check as requested in my Health Guarantee, so I can't fix something I don't know is broke. I have reached out several times to buyer to get any update on puppy and buyer has not responded. Wishing buyer the best and God Bless!Customer Response

I did not reach out to her because of all the reviews I read of bad experiences people have had with her. It would have done no good. Your a real work of art and I refuse to argue with you over the puppy. I made the mistake and believed you to be an honest breeder.
Also I haven't heard from you until yesterday asking about the puppy. I sure that was do so you could make out like you cared. The puppy has been on antibiotics for 9 days now and the cough and throwing up still persist.
What ever you do, don't make out to be a ********* towards me. I am a Chrustian and would have never done people like you have. It appears to me your nothing more than a professional scammer. Please do not contact me further.
