On 03/07/2022, I met ******************************* of Sergios Pro ************************************ we did a walk thru of my home after which he provided a price of $15,800 based on size and work required. On 03/08/2022, based on some previous how I two previous contractors require a huge deposit only to cut and run, ****** understood and agreed to incremental payments. I provided $1000.00 immediately in cash by Zelle as he only accepted cash, checks or the cash and the payment schedule was written on the contract. Unfortunately late that very evening I suffered a serious incident and ended up being admitted to ************************* ************************** as I lost my ability to walk and other issues. I remained in the hospital for 11 days diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and had surgery on my spine due to impingement on my directly on my spinal cord. The job was agreed to be canceled and all monies returned after he and I discussed options. I have been receiving promises from ****** about the return of my money but I get one excuse after another. He did give me $500 after promising the complete amount on June 1, 22. He has dropped all professionalism as he promises one day and never shows with the remainder of my money. I even told him that he is taking advantage of the fact that Im a disabled veteran who is now wheelchair bound. Hes great as long as hes getting your money but this is horrible all over $500 but I have a signed document from him that that says he was supposed to be pay on 05/30/22. He wont answer text or phone calls. I did want to hire him once I was adapted and working with the VA to help with physical therapy, not now. He tried to play a guilt trip on me claiming he loss work because of my cancellation but in May when I apologized and we spoke he told he not to worry because he actually picked up two jobs during that period.
