You better not trust this man! He is an absolute *****! Sold ** vehicles that he had to pull out of a mud hole with a tractor so my drivers could even leave his place. Every one of them had engine lights on and 2 of them only made it to the nearest dealership. He says anybody I have to fix things are stupid because he can do it for less. I am the stupid one for doing a lot of business with him and obviously there is a reason he is cheaper, it is NOT right. He does not stand behind anything he sells, he always has an excuse or makes out like I am a liar. 1 truck needs a new diesel motor, it only made it about 20 miles from him. It wasn't right when he sold it me and he knew it. I could not sleep at night if I were him. Please take my advise and run as far away from him as you can. Do NOT trust him and do NOT in any circumstances do business with him.

To put into perspective who wrote this "review", it's the general manager of a Chevrolet dealership in Cullman Alabama. The reputation these places have is for a reason and this one is no exception. Hence why he is here posting nonsense - his sales have been sinking for the last several months, inventory has piled up and the market has sunk. Pressure is on from the ownership and he is looking for a scape goat to save his job with the "greedy" lady (his words) who owns it. We have wholesaled lots of vehicles to these folks for about a year now. These vehicles are sold AS IS (as stated and agreed in the contract on every single one). Much like an auto auction or trade in. They then prepare them for sale to the general public. Normally vehicles are shipped with transporters, this guy for some reason likes to buy vehicles and fly drivers out to drive them back half way across the country which not only puts a bunch of miles on the vehicles but also opens up all possibilities of something happening to them. He waits until he has a handful ready so he can send a pack of 5 or 6 people (because "they like to travel together"). Vehicles may sit for weeks or more. This is never a wise idea, especially in the current market with abruptly changing conditions. As a salesman he should know this. Each time they pick up they inspect the vehicles before they hop in and drive across country. Not once has there been a problem with any of them, they have all been satisfied and driven off. This was until right around the time their sales were dropping significantly. His employee gets a bad tank of fuel or puts def in the fuel tank which causes it to have problems. He keeps driving the truck even with it messed up, takes it to his competitor and get's a big estimate then comes yelling at us wanting us to pay for the repairs. Again, as-is and you drove it across country. I told him multiple times that this is a very common problem with these trucks, bad fuel wrecks the fuel systems. Or sometimes drivers put DEF fluid or gasoline in the (diesel) fuel tank by accident. Go back to the fuel station and have them cover the repairs. He had excuses and refused to do anything other than demand money. But, once again, these are sold AS IS. This is wholesale. And we are not responsible for bad fuel at a fuel station. Why wouldn't you have your own techs fix it at your own dealership? To be nice and keep the relationship, we ended up selling him some vehicles at cost (no profit- I didn't have to but did so out of good faith). I even threw in a brand new set of tires ($2k worth) on one. Plus some smaller freebies here and there. Fast forward to this most recent occurrence, they come to pick up 5 or 6 trucks that have been sitting for a long time. The drivers fire the trucks up, let them run a good thirty minutes while they look them over and inspect them. The only issue they find is a few scratches on a truck to which the general manager immediately texts us saying he wasn't aware of these. That was it, everything else was fine. Then many hours later I get a text saying they took one of the CHEVROLET trucks to another CHEVROLET dealership (not his own) and were told it needed an engine and they wanted us to pay for it (like $16k or something insane). Once again, these are AS IS. Second, your drivers all inspected these vehicles before they hopped in to drive across the country and the ONLY issue they found was a few scratches but all of a sudden one needs an engine? I told him there is no way. I have been a technician for 30 years, I asked what was wrong with it? He says it needs a head gasket. I said well that's odd, a bad head gasket doesn't require replacing the engine. Then he changes his answer and says well it doesn't need a head gasket, it just needs a whole engine. I told him somebody is playing games here. Either someone is ripping you off or you're trying to rip me off. I said send me the diagnosis and estimate so I can show you, he ignored that and proceeded to demand money. Multiple subsequent requests were ignored. So according to him he is paying some other Chevrolet dealership a grossly overprice engine replacement for no reason. Why wouldn't you take it to your own Chevrolet dealership and fix it for your cost? Makes no sense. Sounds like buyers remorse, you can't sell your inventory and you want to blame someone else. But this is how these places gain the reputations they have. Everyone knows it. This place is no different.

Unless he's trying to extort money or thinking he could force us to take it back to save his job. This is the kind of behavior that has earned these places the reputation they have and why people cringe at the thought of going to a car dealership.

What a joke. I expected nothing less for his response. I will just leave it there.
