See attached - In November of 2021, I purchased items from Dallas Caramel Company. I had trouble with the company's website so I called the customer service line. I spoke to a lady named Shelby. We agreed that I would email her the order via the company's order email address and she would input the order herself through the website. The agreement was that once the order was in she would call me for my credit card info to complete the order. A day later she called and acknowledged that she too had issues with the website but had called the website vendor and was told how to divide and input based on order type. She did get the orders through the system but mentioned that another person at her company also saw the order email I sent to Shelby and accidentally repeated the order creating a duplicate entry. Shelby said she would speak to someone within the Dallas Caramel Company to credit the duplicate order. The correct purchase consisted of two order types. One order was for pickup at the main offices for Dallas Caramel Co and the other order items would be mailed to the respective recipients as listed on the email. When I arrived for the onsite pickup order it was missing a specific item. The lady at the office location went into the back and got the missing item and placed it in the bag. She identified herself as "Rain" the owner of the company and said that she was made aware of the duplicate order entry and that she was working to get it corrected. Rain said that it would be corrected on my credit card but it may take a few days. Unfortunately, when she was give me the missing item she was to have placed "two" items in the bag, not one. I discovered the error and incomplete order when I got home. I called the next day and Shelby said they would credit me the missing item. I have a credit refund notification ($36.92 - see attachment) provided by them but I still have not actually gotten the refund or duplicate order refunded to my credit card.
