Hi *****! We are as disappointed as you are that you were not a good fit for our company and not willing to abide by our standards of operation. Our clients are important to us which is why we hold our employees to such high standards. Writing one star reviews for other jobs you have worked is a pattern for you. You've done it on ****** as well, and they have since removed the review. We wish you nothing but the best with wherever you end up next.

This was absolutely the WORST experience that I have ever had moving! The guys were extremely careless with my furniture. They dented, scratched, and even BROKE wooden furniture. I had to temporarily move to a storage unit. While I wasnt there, they walked on my wooden furniture without any protection over it. The same with my couches! I thought that they were going to use the blankets that I provided to cover my furniture NOPE! They took their blanket off and then slide boxes across my wood furniture! They actually wrapped shelves that were ALREADY wrapped, but didnt put anything over my brand new coffee table or credenza! Then, before I even know if there are any damages, they are making me sign off on a measly 60 cents per lb on payment on damages! I am now going to have to foot the bill to be able to fix all of the damages that they did to my furniture!DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They dont train their employees and they dont care about your precious belongings!

This is the worse company Ive even hired!!! Do not hire them because they just care about your money not the items theyre helping you move. They did not cover the furniture good like other moving companies do to avoid them to brake or scrape. They broke a dresser, a new TV, and other items. They scraped another new dresser and a night stand and ripped a mattress!!! They are seriously the worse company you could hire!!!!They wanted to give me $27.00 for all the things they broke and damage. The insurance they offer is to cover them not your items. You are supposed to purchase additional Insurance that cover your items a little more and be able to get some money back in case this happens but they do not tell you that because they dont care. I spoke to the supervisor a few times regarding this but of course they dont care! It was a waste of my time trying to get somewhere with them!

I used Wasatch Moving Company for my move into my new home. They ended up charging me double what they quoted me, citing a number of hidden fees. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! They are a scam!!

      Wasatch Moving Company Response

Let me please refer you to the conversation you had with your move consultant ******. After gathering your inventory list given to him over the phone, he made a recommendation of resources needed to get your move done for you in the time slot we had available. It was suggested to you we send 3 movers and 1 truck. It was also explained to you we had a 3 hour minimum charge time. This is standard in the moving industry. Some moving companies have as much as a 6 hour minimum. With further conversation, you asked ****** if we would be willing to allow a 2 hour minimum because YOU didn't think it would take 3 hours. Not once in the conversation did we quote you two hours. That was your own estimation. ****** was able to get approval for the 2 hour minimum. Keep in mind this is not a quote of 2 hours simply the minimum amount you would be charged regardless if the move was completed in less than 2 hours. It was clearly explained to you through text that we would allow the 2 hour minimum with the understanding that if the move takes longer than 2 hours, you would be charged accordingly. You said you understood and agreed. In addition to your verbal consent, this was clearly spelled out for you in writing on the estimate you signed. Verbiage directly from your estimate: Minimum Hours:Minimum hours displayed reflects the minimum amount of billable hours you will be charged for. This does not guarantee your move will be completed within the minimum billable hours. How our pricing works:Our pricing is simple! Billable time begins when the truck and crew is dispatched from the office and ends with the calculated travel time back to the office, minus any break time. (15 minute minimum travel each way with a minimum total charge time). All hourly moves are billed to the next quarter hour. Materials included in the hourly rate are plastic wrap and tape. Furniture pads will be provided for day use only. Pads can be rented or purchased for extended periods if needed. You mentioned a "Number of Hidden Fees"? Please reference your invoice. You will see you were not charge a single additional fee outside of the exact hourly rate you were quoted for the exact time your move took including the travel time. All of our time stamps are verified in the office by the *** in the moving truck. We know exactly what time they arrived and when the truck left the job site. I'm sorry if you had unrealistic expectations of how long your move would take. Your inventory was nearly 1/4 of a 26 ft truck. I'm not sure how you thought that could be done in 2 hours when more than 1 hour of that time was spent driving. Not possible unfortunately. You said you were "Charged double what you were quoted"? Please refer back to the estimate you signed and see if you can see anywhere on there where it shows you a flat rate price. You won't find it because you were quoted an hourly rate. We charged you exactly what we quoted you and exactly what was spelled out for you in writing on your estimate that you signed. Following your move, you reached out to ****** asking for a breakdown of the charges which he provided to you. After hearing your concern about the cost, his manager without hesitation offered to refund you 15 minutes of the crew's time ($45) as a gesture of good faith and customer service. After you discount, you were actually charged less than you were quoted, not double. Please don't slander our company and our integrity. There was no such thing as "hidden fees" charged to you. Perhaps you should read your estimate through once again and then revise this review to reflect what actually took place. Our Clients are smart enough to filter through misrepresented reviews like this and it simply makes you look foolish. See attached file of your estimate, invoice, call recordings. Everything you said is a lie.https://docs.google.com/document/d/1EuFd6ozpOtYvJ7gkMLqbq8JFkUHRI8zg5jqFEdGkxV8/edit?usp=sharing

      Customer Response

The fact that you would reply to a customer like this also shows what type of company you are running. Very disappointing. Additionally, the invoices you sent don't even add up and are not the versions I received (potentially you attached the wrong ones). Regardless... DO NOT share my personal information in public settings, including the last 4 of my credit card information (which you have done now on ****** and ********** I will seek legal recourse if you do not cease and decist. Posting recordings of my phone call and copies of my invoice in public forums is HIGHLY illegal, without getting written consent. Companies are required by law to notify customers they are "recording this call for quality assurance," or some iteration of that. That never occured in my phone calls.
