2 orders on February 13,2025 from Built Chocolate Bars online, recieved email confirmation of my order. They immediately charged my card so I reached out via email to ask why since they had not shipped my order yet and they replied that I would recieve my order soon that they had alot of orders due to Valentine's Day. After several days I reached out again and no response but then I recieved a notification from Shop that my order was delivered but there was no date, carrier info or delivery info like there usually is and I did not recieve my orders. I placed an order for Built Bars on July 30, 2023, and my credit card was charged. It is now August 16 and my order has not shipped. I have contacted the company multiple times through email, their website, direct messaging, and on their social media accounts, and they haven’t responded. I’m seeing similar complaints on their social media accounts, and their only response is a canned reply telling the customer to DM them, which obviously doesn’t help. I have been a longtime customer of the company and have had very little trouble with orders in the past. I feel like something is going on with the company that they are not being forthcoming with their customers about. I expect a full refund if I don’t get my order.Initial Complaint

Ordered Built protein bar puffs and 2 Holiday tins which were to have limited edition protein bars and puffs inside of them and the tins both arrived empty. I contacted their customer support via email attempting to resolve without any solution. I called their customer support without any solution. Was told "you ordered 2 empty tins and since it is a food product it can not be returned." They were unwilling to refund me the money. They were unwilling to exchange both tins for 2 tins with product even when I offered to pay the difference for an full tin vs an empty tin. I feel the advertising of the tins was misleading (picture of them with bars and puffs) and when I attempted to read about their refund policy on their website, their wasn't one I could locate.Initial Complaint

I placed my order for the mixed variety box on 6/30/22 (Order Number: *******). Most of the flavors were okay, but one in particular tasted rancid to me - the Coconut Almond flavor. I'm usually a fan of these flavors so I was expecting to enjoy this one but it tasted horrible. I left a 1 star review on the website, hoping to warn other people. It is now over 2 weeks later on 7/15 and my review was never published on the website, nor are there any other 1, 2, or 3 star reviews on the website - only 4 and 5. It really makes you question the entire company as a whole when they refuse to publish negative comments. I reached out to support, and they sent me 6 free bars of my choosing to keep quiet, but I persisted I still wanted my review on the website. It has yet to appear. I placed a large order with Built Brands approximately 2.5 weeks ago. I have contacted the company multiple times about lack of shipment given it has taken excessively long and I no longer wish to receive the order and to refund my purchase. They have responded each time that the order is being prepared for shipment but it never has shipped. I asked them three times to cancel and refund my order and they refuse to do it. They have said twice "instead of canceling the order, we'll prioritize it", but they never did and my order still has not shipped. The company has committed fraud by taking my money and refusing to send me the product I purchased as well as refusing to refund my order.Initial Complaint

The company allows customers to write reviews but if they don’t like your review it gets deleted. Along with that they delete customers comments on social media also. They recently had a e.coli recall also And they decided not to tell their customers. They said they would announce on social media but never did. Shady shady business.
