Alberto P***** came to my house to give me a bid. He had done work on a friend's home, and they liked the work he did. We decided to use their company. He asked for a down payment of over $1000 in order to buy materials. We gave him the money. He then asked for more money a few days later saying that the materials were going to be more money. It sounded suspicious, so I didn't give him more money. He said it would be fine. He has never been back to our property. He says he can't do the job, and has been promising the money back, but it has never come back. He sends text messages saying he is coming by today, but then never comes. This has been going on forever. He says he is coming, and then never comes. I can tell by the other complaints that he has no intention of paying the money back.Initial Complaint

Paid Alberto P***** 1000 dollars down payment for cement work. Promised over ten times to do the job, never showed up. Promised to give my money back multiple times, never showed up. Sounds like this guys has a bad problem, he needs to be stopped.Initial Complaint

Beware he is a crook and scammer!!!! We hired Alberto for concrete work. He didn’t go by his full name with us but told us his name was Bert. He asked for half of the cost of our concrete work upfront and said he would start the very next week, this was the beginning of August the 12, 2022! A month and a half later and Alberto gave us every excuse in the book and never came once only when he picked up the $2,100 that was half of our bid! His KSL add conveniently disappeared and phone number stopped working, he would only communicate through email and dragged things through there! Unfortunately we didn’t know he had been doing this to hard working families for years now! And he is getting away with it by changing his number and business name! He went by Revolution Concrete with us, but we have now come to find out he goes by Revolution Landscaping of Utah & A&P Landscaping Excavation of Utah when he jumps from scamming different victims! He should be locked up for what he is doing, but unfortunately he is getting away with it because he disappears as fast as he steals your money! I truly hope justice can be served and he does the right thing by giving us our refund of the $2,100 he stole from us!Initial Complaint

On or about May 4, 2022, we hired Alberto P*****, who was listed on KSL as Revolution Concrete and Landscaping at that time to form and pour 2 new concrete patios, and expand the side of our RV Pad by 2 feet. It was pretty big job. He has since deleted his KSL Ad. "Bert" as he went by came by and gave us a fair bid for the concrete work. While here he noticed we need a new sprinkler system installed. He gave us a fair bid and after we required him to sign a contract; he required a hefty deposit to begin the work on the sprinkler system which needed to be done before concrete went in. We wrote a check out to his company for the deposit on the sprinkler system and he asked us to write a new one out to Revolution Landscape of Utah, LLC. Which we did, and his crew began working. They showed up with a mini excavator instead of a trenching machine to dig the trenches for the irrigation pipe, which meant the holes were shallow for the pipes not even below frost line, they failed to follow the carefully laid out design, and failed to provide drip lines to all areas and did not cover the grassy areas with enough heads. Bert always had an excuse not to show up, except when he wanted more money. What should have been 1-2 days tops, took them a week to put in and still was not right. We paid Bert in full for the sprinkler system, he did not finish the job, leaving the controller uninstalled. we had to rent a trencher ourself and dig the trenches deeper. "Bert" wanted to start the concrete forming before work was done on the sprinkler. We gave 4,000 on deposit to do concrete, and no more Bert. He has a million excuses for not showing up to form and pour, and then we requested our money back. He has a million more for not returning our money. Hard to find out where he lives, cause he lists 2 different addresses and 3 cell phone numbers. We found out here that others have been cheated as well. SHOCK AND HORROR he has done this to others. Alberto P***** DBA Revolution Landscaping of Utah LLC was contracted for a concrete removal, line drain installation and repour of concrete on April 8, 2022, for $7385 with a receipted deposit of $4000 check number ****, invoice #****. Check was cashed at my bank the next day by Mr. P*****. Per contract, start date was set at May 25th, 2022, for an estimated 3-day project. Contractor no showed every day until June 7. Workers showed up late with 2 electric breakers and a loader, no concrete cutter or mini excavator as specified in the contract. Workers were unable to remove concrete without needed equipment and abandoned the job after a short day 2 leaving all equipment. Mr. P***** is in breach of contract for failure to start or finish the job per contract and in a timely manner. I have given Mr. P***** every opportunity to show up and finish the job, as of this writing that has not happened. I am asking for a full refund of the $4000 deposit.Initial Complaint

We contracted Alberto P***** to do a large project in our front and back yard, including demo, concrete and lawn, on April 2021. He took the first 1/3 payment and his bother, Carlos, started working right away. They did a decent job on the demo of the yard. When we paid them the second 1/3 to start on actually putting the yard back together ($12,000), they stopped work and haven’t returned. Since then, we’ve gotten nothing but lame excuses. We’ve gone the entire year with no front or back yard, and had to pay someone else to complete the work. Alberto keeps promising to get us our $12,000 back (which he admits he owes us), but after months of excuses we’ve decided to take him to small claims court. I’ve also started a site called albertop*****.net to warn others.
