  Let's start off by saying....we got to the dealership on Saturday about 10am. Spent all day getting things handled to purchase our car. Was pressured by the dealership during the end of everything to "hurry and get there," because they had "a lot of interest" in the car and if we didn't get there soon, "they would have to sell it to someone else AT A HIGHER PRICE BECAUSE WE HAD IT UNDERPRICED FOR YOU." THIS IS AFTER WE ALREADY HAD A PURCHASE AGREEMENT WITH THEM! Let's continue...I purchased the car from them on Saturday....Sunday the check engine light, as well as the brake light came on. I contacted ****, who told me "well we aren't open today or Monday, so let's touch base Tuesday and we'll get this handled." The vehicle had a HARD CODE stored in the system ON THREE DIFFERENT OCCASIONS, that had been cleared BY WESTGATE AUTO for a catalytic converter issue. THE *** WOULD NOT HAVE PASSED EMISSIONS WITH THIS CODE!!!! Meaning the emission paperwork was FALSIFIED!!!!!!!! We didn't even drive 50 miles before all this started flashing and having issues! NOW...they are refusing to fix the vehicle! Said they would "buy it back" but they won't fix it. The reason they are doing this is because they actually had the vehicle "under-priced." They "thought" it was a salvaged title, but actually was a clean title. So they only want to buy the car back because "they honored their original pricing," they want to fix the car and resell it at a higher price, but WON'T fix the car, as they should!!!! They did NOT disclose that the tie rod end is also bad on the front driver side, we had to inform them about it!!!!! So they did give us a "discount" of $300, so we could make the repair ourselves because AGAIN they did NOT want to fix it! But overall....that $300 "discount" resulted in us having a vehicle with falsified emission paperwork, bad tie rod end, a check engine light, brake light and OVER $1000 in repairs. Warranty paperwork shows catalytic converter is covered. Page 5

  We offered a full refund. Customer was unhappy with that as a resolution.

  I am rejecting this response because:

  We want the vehicle repaired and functioning as that is the reason we purchased it. We were able to find them an AMAZING deal of $850 + tax for the repair to be made. We truly feel that Westgate Auto should do the right and honest thing and get the car repaired! They only want the car back to make the repair and to sell it at an even higher amount. It should be repaired! Especially after falsifying emissions paperwork and they are now under investigation for that as well. There have been MULTIPLE people who have made complaints about this company who had the SAME SITUATIONS HAPPEN TO THEM!!!

  Got a car from them on Saturday 01/07/23 it was wonderful. Head to the bank to get the check. We talk prior about the car need a strut so we made a deal on me doing the work. When picking up the check they called and said they didn't realize they under priced it. They thought it was a salvaed title. Tried to sell the car put from under us. 150 miles later the check engine light kick on and had 2 different mechanics look at it and said they had to of Falsify emissions paperwork, it wasn't a pending code. This code popped up 3 different time on the computer. When I called them they said " we'll just but the car back and ************** to resale" I asked why not just fix it now. They responded with "we can't afford it" $850.00 to repair. Thats a friend deal from his employer helping me out.

  I offered the customer a full refund and to bring the vehicle back. The declined and wanted to keep the vehicle.
