on may 3rd 2024 around 3:00-3:07 i pulled into the jiffy lube #**** I was asked what I needed done I explained and showed the young man"*******" the paperwork that was left from the last owner, he explained the cost for each types of oil I said the cheaper one is okay, he said it would be less with a coupon he said he would need to pull in when it was my time, i asked if i could wait in my car. yes he said, he pulled inside and went on with the job, about 5-10 mins into the work he said I didn't need an tire rotation but I did need a wheel alignment and that everything was looking good and said how much it would be once they were all done. I had gotten the money ready which was $55.00 dollars because he said it would be like $52.68 or $52.86, so give or take ten mins more he said they were almost done and I asked if I or he needed to pull me out he said I could and that he was ready to take the payment, the other person who was helping with my car went inside the office with **************** pulled out and waited for my change and paperwork, ******* handed me my change and I left. I didn't notice that I hadn't received proof of payment, but I got my change.on may 4th my car started to turn hard I went and got fluid i put it myself and it didn't change I called jiffy lube told the manager he said he'd call back never did so I went to jiffy lube today may 5th and was really disrespected by ***** and a guy wearing another persons shirt cliff, he told me his real name and he was the person who had did the oil change on Friday. ***** was super disrespectful and rude. I told the guy who worked on my car Friday that I had recorded the conversation and that I was calling a lawyer 1st thing Monday . I asked for my paperwork as ***** responds that said I turned down my receipt which I never would have done for reason like this matter, sat as I was turning my steering wheel locked up on me which caused me to hit a pole now my car door has damages

The business (Jiffy Lube) verbalized and invoiced that so much service was provided however this was not accurate to what was actually rendered. I was charged for services that were not performed and/or were performed faulty.Business expressed it checked tires for tire pressure and filled tires with air (30 psi each). One problem was, this 30 psi was not the correct amount for my tires as stipulated by the manufacturer (and printed on the placard inside the drivers side door). When I confronted the manager about the tire pressure light coming on (after I left his business) he alleged that my tire pressure sensors were somehow to blame. I asked him how that could be the case since I did not have a problem with said sensors coming into the shop and he expressed, I dont know to which I then started rooting out the problem to land back in the shop to verify the tire pressure and learn that not even 30 psi was put into my tires as stated on the invoice. So, not only did the tires not get filled but on the invoice the shop misrepresented the fact of they did with my tires. It was later discovered the same thing about my windshield wiper fluid. The shop stated on the invoice and verbalized in person that the windshield wiper was topped off however shortly after leaving the shop my fluid container came up empty. (I am never empty on fluids as I the wiper fluid is not utilized frequently enough to come up empty, so the shop obviously passed on the fluids, too.)The above experiences begs to question what else the shop didnt do, but charged for, but I have not yet discovered.

They preformed work on my truck that didnt meet requirements to do. Resulting in a loss of brakes and I was almost in an auto accident. Its been over a week. The ** said that they would refund the whole invoice amount. Theyve refunded the wrong invoice and have yet to correct it. They stated my brakes were 4-7 mm and needed a service that they didnt require bc they actually measured at 2mm and they did the brake service anyway and put my life in danger by not testing the brakes out after doing the service they knew didnt really meet requirements to be done.

On Saturday March 2, 2024 I took my 2018 Audi Q5 in for an oil change. One of the employees drained the transmission fluid instead of the oil, then poured 5qts of oil on top of the 5 that were already in the oil compartment, they then proceeded to turn the car on and the cars sensor registered a problem with the transmission. After 3 hours I got a ride home and waited for them to call, at around 6:30pm I was called and told they didnt know how to fix the problem, and I would be without a car until Monday. At which point I lost faith and called the dealership I bought it from to tow it in and fix it. The regional manager ***** does not like the dealerships final price of $1186 to fix and said he will only pay $750. His attitude has been dismissive and unhelpful, all I ask is that Jiffy lube pay the whole bill

I went to Jiffy Lube on Jan 5 2023 to get my oil change on my 2021 **** Explorer. The service was great. But on February 1 2023 I was jumping my girlfriend car because it was dead and when I went to open my hood I was shocked to see my engine cover was missing. I havent driven my car since the oil changed. When I called the store they said they put it on and they dont have my engine cover. I explain my reason why I think they are lying and they said it wasnt their fault because they dont have my engine cover. Now I cant believe my first car I bought feels like its not complete.

On 11/9/2022 I purchased a 3-pack oil change on your jiffy lube website jiffylubepay.com for $85.05. I want a full refund. It states in the terms that you will honor refunds within a certain time period after purchasing, but I cannot get ahold of anyone to issue that refund to me. I emailed [email protected], but no one is answering me. I have called multiple numbers trying to get a refund including your corporate office ###-###-####, but there is still no answer. I left messages to call me back. Give me my money back!

I went in to get a oil change on 12/2/21 @ 3:10 pm. Jiffy lube **** work order ****. They kept asking to replace my filters on everything we kept saying no when we was pulling out I asked if he checked the water he didn't he put the flashlight to it and said I'm fine then said I have an oil leak. I had not had a leak before coming here. My husband checked it and said right where the oil filter is they busted the power steering fluid pipe in half and it's even lined up with exactly where the oil filter is right below it and my oil isn't even leaking by the time we got home my steering wheel was stiff and wouldn't turn and all of the power steering fluid was gone. My husband usually does the oil change I thought I'd give him a break and take it in I will never take it in again. So upset about this.

      Business response

Customer has been contacted. This claim has been denied due to the placement of the oil filter, the filter is a spin on filter, and the mileage of the vehicle.

I had the brake pads on my 2019 ******* Santa Fe changed on May 10, 2021. I've had nothing but problems since. After they worked on my car, a piece of a brake pad broke off and ruined the rotor and the brake. Jiffy Lube replaced both, however they used the wrong brake pad, and my brakes seized and became extremely dangerous to drive. For one month I was without a car and it cost me a $200 tow, $**** mechanic ****, and an immeasurable amount of stress. I found out from the dealership mechanic that Jiffy Lube had tampered with the caliper bolt and it was damaged to the point that it was about to fall out. In October, the same issue began again because the brake, rotor, and caliper were damaged. The Jiffy Lube manager admitted he and his crew didn't know what they were doing because it was a newer car and they didn't know how to do it properly but he told me they "are using this as a learning experience." The corporate office was unwilling to negotiate compensation because they stated all of the blatant ********************** is covered by their contract, even though in the exclusions clause it very clearly states TAMPERING as a voidable action for their contract. I had to bring it back to the dealership again because the same problem was happening again. The dealership told me because the original damage was so extensive, it left a lot of residual damage where I will constantly have to bring it in for repair. After looking at estimate for another **** dollars, I decided to trade in my car to be done with the constant problems created by JiffyLube. I have tried many times to resolve the problem. Jiffylube will only pay for the tow and repair **** but has cost me so much more in damages, the process, and now having to sell my car and buy a new one.

Customer has been sent an offer to cover the repairs and the tow of her vehicle. This offer has been denied. Our offer stands firm at this time.

      Customer response

      11/09/2021

I have rejected the offer because $1700 does not begin to cover the costs I incurred due to the negligence of Griffin/JiffyLube employees. I continue to have problems with my car that have been deemed non repairable where I am now having to sell my car and buy a new one. $1700 as an offer to make this situation right is an insult.

I own a 2015 ****** Outback w/around ****** miles. I took my Outback in for an oil change & was told given the mileage and manufactures recommendation, it was time for the front and rear differential fluid to be changed, too. Jiffy Lube informed me these services (i.e., oil change, front differential fluid, rear differential fluid) were performed; I was charged $259.42.Less than 15 miles of driving later, my car had to be towed to the dealership as it stopped working. Per the dealershipand as evidenced in the dealerships mechanics videothe differential fluid was emptied & not replaced, but rather dumped into the transmission. This careless and elementary mistake has ruined my front differential and transmission completely (i.e., my car is no longer drivable in this condition) & is estimated to cost between $9,000-12,000 to repair (i.e., **************** in addition to 1) the cost of the car to be towed and 2) daily cost of a rental car, while the Outback is repaired.

      Complaint: 16026027

I am rejecting this response because Jiffy Lube's offer for the repairs to the vehicle is unacceptable given the amount of damage caused by Jiffy Lube's mechanics @ ************************ in *********, **. Jiffy Lube is quoting $2,250; the reputable mechanic I prefer to repair my vehicle has quoted $8,453.95; this is the amount I demand of Jiffy Lube.

After speaking with several mechanics in the area, each has advised me against accepting this offer for a used transmission. It has been advised the best and safest option for repair is a new transmission or a rebuilt transmission. Several mechanics disclosed the likelihood this transmission has been damaged in an accident is high and would lead to problems down the road in a 2015 ****** Outback that has never had issues, outside of routine maintenance and repairs.

This massive corporation certainly has the finances to do more than the bare minimum and is obligated to make this situation right, by my standards and preferences for my vehicle. Do better than you've been doing.
