Emergency room visit 4/30 Lone Peak Hospital Lack of privacy and care Facility opened the door on me while I was unclothed exposing me to the public No privacy in the room only using a curtain with other patients witnessing & hearing my experience While there were other open rooms to use Hospital demonstrated lack of professionalism and rights to privacy The doctor told me they were doing an exam they did not ask my consent They told me I was required to have an IV with fluid in order to be seen there. This was a lie. Nurse never came to take out my IV when I expressed I was ready to leave after no one came in to check on me for lengthy & extended amount of time Staff was not checking in and heard laughing and snickering outside of room instead of doing their job. I was so afraid after losing so much blood. No one there took it seriously. I had to remove IV myself upon checkout. This was the the worst experience I have ever witnessed in a hospital. The behavior from staff was uncaring and nefarious. I shouldn’t be responsible for paying for a service that was below standard of human dignity. My grievance was not taken seriously. I spoke back and forth with Brenda at hospital complaint line. This is a serious issue I did NOT receive the care I was promised. They did nothing and my privacy was violated multiple times during this visit.
