    I am making a formal complaint, which will be also made to the BBB. On 09/26/2023 I visited the Farmington, UT office to purchase an IDP. Luther was at the desk and offered horrible customer service. At first insisting I purchase a membership or the IDP would take 48 hours to process. I decline the membership, paid $20 dollars to process it and have it shipped to my home addressed. Over a week later, I still do not have the IDP. I called back and spoke with Luther, who was very rude and did not assist in resolving the issue except to say I would have to go down to the office reply and paid for a membership to get it while at the office. I paid $20 dollars for the IDP, never received it. Got robbed of my $20 dollars and Luther laughed when I said I would report the issue.

    AAA is no longer my go to insurance company. Their initial rates are still reasonable, but their service is no longer whats used to be. And the rate goes up every renewal to the level you couldnt not think was possible. Over the years, I worked with a number of agents in Detroit metro area - namely ***************************, *********************************, and, more recently, ************************* from AAA Farmington. Biggest problem always - bad communication. Long delays, unanswered emails. But the last agent overdone them all. Not only this agent is not respectful of other peoples time, he is also not punctual and does not care about your business. Unlike other companies agents I worked with, ***** refused to provide any information or questions over email. And when I pushed back on this approach, he responded it is easier for him to do it over phone. Well, when we agreed on specific time to have a call - he did not call on time. But 35 minutes later. I had to ask to reschedule. When we finally got on the phone - he repeteadly asked same questions again and again because his phone was fuzzy. When I pointed out that it does not seem to work well to have this conversation over phone - he suggested that I might want to talk to other agents. So, all it tells me - AAA has plenty of clients and is not interested in any new ones or even retaining the existing ones.To add on top of service problem - most of the information I submitted online for the quote was lost, the agent had to ask all the same questions again. And if thats not enough - after using life, auto and homeowner policies from AAA for years, Ive got my homeowner policy renewal with premium two times higher than the prior years. With zero changes to my credit, and zero claims in 10 years. This is the last straw - Ive got good deal from State Farm. So, long AAA. And good luck to agent ************************* with such an attitude.
