November 3 I was finally able to confirm by ***** that the silencer was received. To this date and after many tries, I have been unable to get a status on my silencer. At this point I just want it back the way I sent it. No response from Dead Air at all since they received it.Business response

This customer damaged their product due to negligent care and reached out to us to fix the product. We went outside of our warranty to help this customer free of charge and the product was shipped back 12/20/2023. We received the product from the customer 11/2/2023 the entire process took less than 2 months to re finish his product and send it back to him.Initial Complaint

Ordered a Silencer from this company, got government approval, then the product was recalled. Still dont have the product months later. No communication from their end. And no end in sight. And no recourse.Business response

Good day I m getting in touch from Richmond (KY) to see if you can help me resolving an issue with DeadAir silencers I had to ship back a suppressor ( Sandman K ) this past April that was constantly coming loose from the gun After more than 4 months and several emails back n forth, my suppressor is still in their possession ( they say…) and I have no idea when I will get it back The alarming thing is they keep lying about the status of the suppressor. 'Is being painted...' , 'Will ship in two weeks...' 'will ship by the end of the month...' At this point I am afraid they have lost it and I will need to report the ATF the item is no more in my possession. A suppressor is an highly regulated item and having one potentially lost is a big deal Is there anything you can do to help me resolving this issue ( first making sure the silencer is still in their possession and have it fixed- send back asap) before I file report with the ATF and involve an attorney? Summary: The business deceived me into sending part of my order back to them with the promise of an exchange. It has been nearly three months and no exchange has happened. The business has stopped replying to my emails and ignored different ways to resolve this problem. I have been unable to use the product I purchased for three months. I purchased a Sandman S silencer which came with a 5/8x24 muzzle brake and a package of shims. The muzzle brake mounts to the barrel of a rifle which uses the shims. Then you're able to mount the silencer to the rifle. Oct. 24, 2022 I asked this company via email if the included 5/8x24 muzzle brake fits my rifle. Michael responded to my inquiry saying that it does not and that if I ship them the one I have back they will send me the correct one, model number DA-305. Oct. 30, 2022 I asked the company if they need me to send back the shims also. Nov. 1, 2022 Michale responded that I do not need to ship the shims to them. Nov. 4, 2022 I shipped back the 5/8x24 muzzle brake via UPS, tracking number ****************** which cost $16.34 Nov. 8, 2022 The item was delivered to their customer service department at * ***** **** ******, Kamas, UT 84036. Nov. 18, 2022 I reached out about the exchange because I did not receive the replacement part and did not hear anything upon them receiving my package. They replied that they are out of stock and when they get one they will send it to me. Dec. 8, 2022 I checked the website which said the DA-305 is in stock. I sent an email asking if they can send it to me now. Dec. 9, 2022 They replied that their webstore and dealers gets resupplied before their customer service department. Jan. 6, 2023 I sent another email asking for an update with different ways we can resolve the problem. No response. Jan. 18, 2023 I sent another email asking for an update with different ways we can resolve the problem. No response.
