Our house flooded back in July 2021. We were out of the house for repairs for 2 months. During the time of repairs, we were directed to Out of the Woods to purchase new countertops for our home. We found countertops that we liked, about $5,000 worth, and they came to install them in our kitchen. Upon installation, they cut my island wrong and needed 2 more weeks to re cut another piece. This was not the issue. However, after we were back into the house we were cleaning and our rag snagged on the countertop that has our range. After talking to Out of the Woods, they found that the installers had broken that slab and did their best to repair it. Out of the Woods did not say anything to us about this repair until we brought it up. To fix it now would require them to redo my expensive back splash that would be ruined by taking it out. This particular slab cost $1,500 and they are offering a $200 return and say there is nothing else they can do. I believe this company is in the wrong with not telling us about this break until it was too late. They als had time to replace that slab as they already had to replace the island slab because they cut it wrong.
